The location is splendid! off the beaten track in rural Sardinia. The landscapes are superb, with weird stone formations. There's a Nuraghe nearby and birding in the area is very good.
watch out where the huskies go...
Roberto, our host, had many super suggestions of nearby places to visit and offers Jeep tour of his Valley of the Moon. Scenery was so lovely. We felt very welcome and could feel like we were "home". Breakfast above the standard packed bread with fresh fruit and jogurt. The "living room" is a covered patio in front of the house which was good while we were there but we wondered what happens when the weather is poor.
Our room lacked a closet or chairs but we had a lovely spacious bathroom. We arrived late and had some trouble finding the entrance as there are no lights along the road there, part of the charm, and the final sign lacks an arrow. Once we fiqured it out, there was no problem. To see the stars at night with no lights to disturb them was worth everything in these days of light pollution.
