Very friendly and helpful owner. Room at the top has fantastic views.
Hotel shuts at 9 !! so be quick if you fancy a drink at the bar as it will close. View from room was a brick wall , great !!
The staff, very friendly and helpful The location, a bit isolated in a bay, next to the beach
A bit isolated, crowded during the day but very calm at night
Away from the hustle of Santa marguerita.
Lovely and helpful staff, clean hotel.
Slightly overpriced for what you get.
Everyone was extremely friendly - staff very helpful and welcoming. Location great - nearby beach, local restaurants & walkway round the bay. Room 16 (top floor) amazing - will definitely return. Simple, comfortable, inviting with stunning views. Nothing is too much trouble - excellent.
Driving on coast roads in Italy is challenging but that's not the fault of the hotel !
Lovely family run business. Rooms furnished to a high standard with air conditioning. Good bus service to local town from outside the hotel.
Great location and friendly staff! Tasty breakfast.
Stinky, not very clean room in an urgent need of attention! Separate bathroom - very nice but had to walk across the corridor to get there. Ridiculously expansive parking - £20 for the 24h! The building is dated and requires revamp!
V. Friendly and funny staff, nice clean room, great location, good breakfast
Expensive area of Italy
Best breakfast in Italy, thanks for your kindly gift
Vodafone's construction beginning at 08.30 in the morning for 2days(although it's not in hotel's control)
Excellent location between Portofino and Santa Margherita with lovely helpful staff. Highly recommend the room with the private terrace - a little piece of heaven worth every extra euro.
Brilliant location, close to Portofino, reasonable price, superb service.
What's not to like?
We thought it was the best place to stay as the access to Portofino by foot was a great way to explore the region. The hotel is great in location is very quiet and the staff excellent. The free beach and swimming from the rocks not to be missed in this beauty spot.
The staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us with parking (when parking was full). Make us sandwiches for the beach.. little gift for our 4 yr old. They were lovely. The location is perfect.
nothing, couldn't fault the place..
very friendly staff, convenient location for beach lovers (the other side of the road) and to start the walking path to Portofino. One of the few parking places is near by, although expensive (20 Euro p/day). Fair breakfast in a pleasant dining room.
The price seems to be quite expensive for a two stars hotel. No elevator for baggage. Limited view from both windows in the room. The first impression when you arrive is quite poor but it improves the next day.
It is close enough to Portofino to walk within 30 minutes. A very pleasant stroll. Paraggi is on a pleasant bay but most beach areas are privately controlled. Buses run to Santa Margherita and Potofino from the door. The continental breakfast was excellent.
The choice of where to eat in the evening is very restricted. The larger restaurants are expensive. The hotel has microwave snacks that are quite acceptable for a no frills snack. There were many stairs to the rooms and we were left mainly to fend for ourselves as far as luggage was concerned. At 70, I did not think that I should need to do that! The 'hot spot' wifi was less than acceptable and caused much frustration.
Professionalism and friendliness of people running the hotel
Absolutelly perfect everything. Nice place, nice room, amazing personnel.
Very friendly staff
The best small hotel
This hotel sits right on the border between Santa Margherita and Portofino, and is a convenient place from which to visit multiple cities along the coast, including Cinque Terre (one hour away by train). The owner and staff are very gracious, and provided excellent directions for travel, and helped us book our next hotel in Milan. I would not hesitate in staying here again.
Loved the location, the friendly and helpful management and staff and of course, Lucky (Giorgio's dog). The dining room, during breakfast, has a particularly warm and friendly atmosphere as well. A fabulous spot for brilliant views, the easiest access to beach activities (for little ones as well), great dining and a short bus ride or walk to Portofino and S. Margherita.
There is no lift available for ease of access with luggage but Giorgio was very willing and able to assist. He couldn't have been more helpful.
The fact that there was a rail strike so we had to leave Italy a day early without staying in this lovely hotel.
Owners/operators are friendly and helpful. Excellent gem of a hotel w/in easy walking distance of Portofino; nice beach out front. Good alternative to Santa Margherita
Breakfast is nothing fancy, but passable.
Staff was very helpful. The location is good, opposite a little sandy beach and a 15 minute walk from Portofino. Nice walks along the coast and in the forests.
Sound proofing is a bit weak, especially if you keep the windows open
