- central location - possibility to leave bags after checkout
- old bed (too soft) - wifi did not work at night (disabled?) Only at day time.
Good location easy to find good for the money. 10 min walk to rialto bridge
Stairs are wery small
The location was excellent, you could be straight out into the heart of Venice first thing in the morning until last thing at night.
The pillow was as thin as a cheese single- a little more comfort wouldn't go amiss. The shower head wouldn't stay still so you had to turn it off while you were in the shower.
the room is big
A little bit noise, and the location is hardly to be find, no any sign for us to find it
Good location 10-15 mins from train station and most attractions. Staff were helpful and facilities were good.
I think it would have been way over priced if it was anywhere but Venice, but seems how it is in Venice where everything is way over priced it was probably about right. Nice enough stay for 3 nights would recommend if on a budget and this is one of your cheaper options.
Stairs, no lift so if you aren't capable of carrying your bags up 2 flights of stairs probably not for you
Nice place to stay, very close to the city center and quite and peacful. Price is not high comparing with other b&b places.
Wifi only on the first floor.only one socket in the room so you can charge only one device
Basic hotel but excellent value for the low price asked. The sheets were clean.
Everythng was perfect, especially breakfast was available only for €3.
Everything was immaculately clean - the room and the bathroom. The host wasn't very talkative but really friendly and helpful. wifi in our room - room №2 -worked well enough. We even were offered free breakfast - nice bonus) thank you)
the only big problem was - the absence of air-conditioner.... after a day in the city - we couldn't have rest - fan didn't help in August heat...
Extremely good location, very clean, helpful owner, decent sized room. We wanted an airy, double room with some view, higher level, and when we saw the room the owner gave us, we were very happy.
took 2 hours to find; the owner can do something like a sign on the street to help guests find it
There were no wi-fi connections in rooms and there wasn't enough shampoo, soap and etc.
Not far from train station so I don't need to walk too far with luggage. The price is already cheap compare with other hotels there as Venice is very expensive.
Breakfast is way too simply, bad bread. Only the coffee is ok. My room almost has no wifi, very very weak signal.
Excellent location - walking distance to main attractions Big rooms and clean
More services could be offered in the hotel. Breakfast wasn't really advertised.
Good walking distance from either bridge (Rialto or Academia) both taking you to onto the island for San Marco square. Close to cheap little restaurants and bars with traditional food and friendly staff. Owner of locanda ca foscari is very welcoming and friendly! :)
There was a fan in our room but no aircon so sleeping with the window open meant being bitten by Mosquitos. Wifi didn't reach our room but half way down the stairs I found reception :)
very good location close to the railway to deposit luggage free off charge after check-out
Central location, out of the busy tourist areas. Relative to Venice, the price was ok. Rooms simple but adequate. Hotel was clean.
Hard place to find as the street and hotel don't stand out.
Location is perfect, clean and good!!!!!
Admin charged me 4 euros more claiming Taxes.
very close to a nice italian restaurant and some shopping
Everything! When I go back to venice I will be staying here again. Location is perfect and away from all the tourists, which made it even better :) the hotel is basic but it's just want you want to experience the true style of Venice it's also very clean inside :)
Everything was perfect.
The owner was kind and helpful when asked for directions. He spoke English well. When we found the B&B it was in a fairly central location, only a 10 minute walk from the Rialto Bride, and a 15-20 minute walk from St.Marks Square. The shared bathroom was very clean.
There was a lady a floor above us up stairs who was screaming in Italian at the top of her lungs. It was on and off every few minutes. I first noticed it at about 5pm. My wife and I went out for dinner and came back at 830 and she was still screaming. I went and told the owner, told me there was on older woman who lived alone upstairs. He went up stairs and spoke to her and it stopped after that.
Breakfast included with everything you could want. Great to find a family room that fitted five people and it had a private bathroom! Luxury!
Windows of room looked into internal courtyard full of heating and air conditioning units... With the window open for air the hum of the units was annoying.
Very pleasant hotel in a very good position, about 10 minutes walking from the main station S. Lucia. The price was really good despite the Christmas Holidays. The room was big enough, confortable and clean, and so the shared bathroom. Particularly appreciated, the kindness and availability of the staff.
It would have been perfect if there was a TV in the room.
