The economic room of is small dimensions. The bed is uncomfortable. In general very mediocre room. The space of morning too much small. Morning very poor. In general it does not resemble with hotel but with rented apartments.
The hotel was quite charming. There was good access for walking to significant sites. It was a fair value for Venice, which is expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful.
It was difficult to find the hotel initially, and Venice can be a challenge to navigate on foot until you get your bearings. It was difficult to communicate with the staff via telephone as we speak only English, which is our limitation, not theirs.
Welcoming, hospitable staff. Excellent location, great breakfast and for all the people who complain about the small breakfast area, let it go - what do people expect in a very old city. Wonderful way to meet fellow travellers.
Location: Excellent! 3 min to sea and historical places. Room: Clean, good atmosphere. Personnel: Very helpful and good. Finally, if price is ok for you, it's worth to choose.
Nothing to say.
It was in an amazing location considering how much we paid, amazing value, right at the centre of all the sights. Wifi worked perfectly, breakfast was really tasty, staff were really lovely, couldn't have asked for more!
Thin walls, at times we could hear conversations as if they were in the same room, and we were woken up by other guests alarms in the morning, but that's not the hotels fault! Personally I wasn't too fussed and would definitely stay there again!
The location was perfect, 5min walk to San Marco. Very quiet to chill and friendly staff. We loved that place and planning to stay there again soon.
Small breakfast area
Location is very good. Very close to S Marco square.
There was no variety in breakfast. Beds were not comfortable. Too small for two people. Since Venice is like a maze, it was very hard for us to find the hotel. There was no sign to show the direction to the hotel. They told me I would pay cash but they drew money from my credit card. Rooms are too small.
Central location and large room
Nice place. Only a few walk minutes to San Marco
The common areas are really small.
The hotel is very close to St. Marco but hidden in a small street in front of a small church. Indeed it's not easy to find but if you read well the map (sent by the hotel after the booking confirmation), it will not be a problem at all. Basic, medium size room. Clear. My partner was annoyed by the humility smell but I was fine with it. Breakfast with less choice but sitting outside of the hotel, right in front the church watching the locals busily starting their day was nice.
Friendly host, clean and nice rooms, good for 1 night stay
The room came with a private bathroom and I must say we were very pleased with it. The room was surprisingly spacious and welcoming when we arrived. So much so that we decided to sleep after we checked in the early afternoon since we had some jet lag coming from Canada. The breakfast included offered great value for what we paid for and the staff were all very friendly and spoke english well. We are very happy to have stayed here and look forward to booking with them again in the near future to experience Venice again. One day was not enough.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
Price was reasonable for Venice. Spacious room & nice quiet location with no foot traffic.
The breakfast was very poor. Eggs were days old. Some fruit had mould. Dairy products were not refrigerated properly. Coffee was awful. Shower mat had mould.
Nice room-Comfortable Staff is very helpful and accomodating Great location to access popular sites of Venice
Cant think of anything we did not like
Location is fantastic, close to San Marco and boat station. Price is reasonable for this type of accommodation. Good breakfast on a small square in front of the hotel
Small room and very tiny bed for two people
Great location and friendly staff
It was all good
Location was good Price was good for such central accomodation. Clean Friendly staff English speaking staff
No view from the room, couldn't even see the sky and tell what the weather was like prior to leaving the room. Dining area was basically us being sat in the kitchen and not very comfortable, kitchen bin was right infront of us
Location, friendliness, clean rooms, breakfast
- the male staff of reception has poor attitude.
Close to St Marks Square and water taxi
We paid $213 nite for this hotel. Very very small, no lobby to speak of. Our room was literally 6 inches from check in desk. Very small and quite cramped breakfast area. Very outdated furniture. Breakfast was minimal. For this price I would have expected more than cereal, hard boiled eggs and minimal fruit. No ice available. The bed was comfortable and the room quite small. It was on a very very small square with construction undergoing on the drain pipes or sewage. There are 3 tables outside for guests to sit, but not a pleasant view. This came highly recommended by Rick Steve's and our biggest disappointment and most expensive by far. We did sleep well and it was perfect for walking to and from. If you only need a bed, this will work.
Wonderful location: 2 min to San Marco and 5 min to Realto area. Nice big room, clean and confortable.
Small breakfast area, but this is not a big problem.
Good breakfast, wonderful location, clean. Would stay again!
Location is excellent, staff is very friendly
