Central location and large room
Nice place. Only a few walk minutes to San Marco
The common areas are really small.
The hotel is very close to St. Marco but hidden in a small street in front of a small church. Indeed it's not easy to find but if you read well the map (sent by the hotel after the booking confirmation), it will not be a problem at all. Basic, medium size room. Clear. My partner was annoyed by the humility smell but I was fine with it. Breakfast with less choice but sitting outside of the hotel, right in front the church watching the locals busily starting their day was nice.
Friendly host, clean and nice rooms, good for 1 night stay
The room came with a private bathroom and I must say we were very pleased with it. The room was surprisingly spacious and welcoming when we arrived. So much so that we decided to sleep after we checked in the early afternoon since we had some jet lag coming from Canada. The breakfast included offered great value for what we paid for and the staff were all very friendly and spoke english well. We are very happy to have stayed here and look forward to booking with them again in the near future to experience Venice again. One day was not enough.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
Price was reasonable for Venice. Spacious room & nice quiet location with no foot traffic.
The breakfast was very poor. Eggs were days old. Some fruit had mould. Dairy products were not refrigerated properly. Coffee was awful. Shower mat had mould.
Nice room-Comfortable Staff is very helpful and accomodating Great location to access popular sites of Venice
Cant think of anything we did not like
Location is fantastic, close to San Marco and boat station. Price is reasonable for this type of accommodation. Good breakfast on a small square in front of the hotel
Small room and very tiny bed for two people
Great location and friendly staff
It was all good
Location was good Price was good for such central accomodation. Clean Friendly staff English speaking staff
No view from the room, couldn't even see the sky and tell what the weather was like prior to leaving the room. Dining area was basically us being sat in the kitchen and not very comfortable, kitchen bin was right infront of us
Location, friendliness, clean rooms, breakfast
- the male staff of reception has poor attitude.
Close to St Marks Square and water taxi
We paid $213 nite for this hotel. Very very small, no lobby to speak of. Our room was literally 6 inches from check in desk. Very small and quite cramped breakfast area. Very outdated furniture. Breakfast was minimal. For this price I would have expected more than cereal, hard boiled eggs and minimal fruit. No ice available. The bed was comfortable and the room quite small. It was on a very very small square with construction undergoing on the drain pipes or sewage. There are 3 tables outside for guests to sit, but not a pleasant view. This came highly recommended by Rick Steve's and our biggest disappointment and most expensive by far. We did sleep well and it was perfect for walking to and from. If you only need a bed, this will work.
Wonderful location: 2 min to San Marco and 5 min to Realto area. Nice big room, clean and confortable.
Small breakfast area, but this is not a big problem.
Good breakfast, wonderful location, clean. Would stay again!
Location is excellent, staff is very friendly
The room was clean and comfortable. Bed nice and firm and was quiet at night for a good nights sleep. Location was perfect as a stroll away from the square and walkable to all main sights.
The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Really loved the building and it was ideally situated.
The noisy English women which kept us awake until 4.00am with laughing, arguing and swearing!!!!! Which spoilt my relaxing 50th birthday weekend away.
Location was good for visiting sites. Room was clean. Staff was friendly, but some struggled with English.
Location took a while to get to from the main train station. Indoor breakfast area was cramped. In good weather breakfast outside would be excellent.
Location not far from San Marco square even though it is quite difficult to find.
Very difficult to find! Even when u find it it is difficult to retrace it. Breakfast was quite poor for the amount charged for the room. Bed was quite uncomfortable.
Visited this hotel 21.03.14-24.03.14 Place is very nice, 5 min from San Marco and boat station, near nice restaurant. Inside the hotel is very pretty, rooms not big but clean, comfortable. Bed cloth and towels changed 2 times in 3 days. Breakfast is simple but very tasty. Free wifi.
We came at 11:30 but only at 1pm received keys from the room.
Brilliant location and staff were really nice and helpful. Gave very good instructions before arrival and helped us find dinner the first night. Room was nice and clean. All in all a lovely stay and hotel.
Slightly basic breakfast but was all we needed to be fair. Rooms slightly small but didn't need anything more.
Location and the staff is friendly
My wife and I spent 3 nights in this nice hotel and we loved it, we definitely will come back. This hotel has an excellent location, it is really in the center of all the most interesting areas from Venice and really quick access to the vaporetto San zacarria. The service is excellent, rooms are very clean and big enough. The breakfast offered is also good enough compared to Europe small portions.
