Reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Rooms were very clean. Location excellent.
The apartment was spacious and clean. Nancy was most helpful in informing of the best places to go and where they were from where the apartment was. Supplied with a free map. Was able to store our cases free of charge before our flight went and after we had booked out.
Breakfast wasn't up to much. Such a shame considering the service was second to none on everything else. Would suggest buying croissants and coffee in instead of relying on the café up the road.
Small hotel, only 6 rooms in one floor. Each room is new and clean, equipped with a satellite TV (Sky), mini bar and safe. Very close to the Colosseum but not to close to the metro station or rail station.
Breakfast is in a nearby cafe and is very poor (coffee, juice and sandwich). Location is not so good since it is not close to the rail station nor the metro. You can get a better deal with hotels closer to termini and with a decent breakfast with the same price.
Situated in the centre of Rome, easy transport access, comfortable, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Difficult to locate from signage, you need to count the street numbers to ensure you don't miss it! No ironing board.
Stuff er nice.
Breakfest was very italian. Prefer continental.
staff were very helpful. We arrived two hours before check in and our room was ready so they checked us in straight away and on tje last day let us leave our bags there until our train departed. very friendly and helpful.
The location was incredibly convenient to amazing sightseeing locations and to great neighborhood restaurants. We stayed in the two-bedroom unit on the ground-level and found the apartment to be beyond our expectations. The facility is very spacious and comfortable. The air-conditioning works great ( a unit in every room). The interior design is amazing. It features a unique split-level design which we found to be comfortable and romantic even though we were traveling with our kids. It was quiet and secure, with two locked doors between us and the street outside. The cafe nearby where breakfast is served was friendly and being there almost made us feel like locals. This place was our favorite during our 2.5 week stay in Europe. It lifted our spirits to be in such a fine facility.
The memory foam mattresses were a nice touch, but they may need to be replaced. We found ourselves sleeping in a little valley in the bed, as if it was over-worn. It isn't clear if that is how such mattresses perform, or if this one is over-used. There is no view.
Great location and very clean room!
Superb location Friendly helpful staff Super comfortable rooms We loved everything!
We had a very friendly welcome plus a short guide to the city! The hotel itself is in a great location and is absolutely stunning. The mini bar is excellent value. The best think about this hotel has to be the domestic service, when we returned after our day out, the room was pristine; they had even organised my make up!
Tended to be a little noisey and there were insufficient black out blinds, nothing that some ear plugs and an eye mask wouldn't sort!
There are a million things that we absolutely LOVED about our stay at Locanda Colosseo, it would take all day! So I will condense as best I can...Locanda Colosseo is in a prime location for most of the ruins..(Colosseum, Forum, Trajan's Market, Palatine Hill, Michelangelo's Moses etc) There are also many shops, bakeries, restaurants, the absolute best gelato and Naples style pizza in Rome (But you must ask Ricardo for the location of each, they are very close to hotel) The staff at Locanda Colosseo are extremely professional, courteous, accommodating and so friendly, they treat you like one of their family. The actual accommodations are superb! This was our second time to stay at the Locanda Colosseo and when we return to Rome, we will be back!
That we had to leave :)
The location was excellent! We were traveling with 2 young adults and it was so nice to have our own space. The one and 1/2 baths were great too! The rooms were very clean - a very enjoyable stay!
Small B&B with excellent location! Very kind and helpful staff. Facility is clean and in good shape with comfortable air conditioning.
The noise from the street can be heard clearly in the rooms facing the street. Rooms on the other side of the building are probably more quiet.
Very nice rooms with extremely comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Location can't be beat for hitting Rome's biggest attractions.
Great place with an excellent location!
No complaints at all. You'll love it.
The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk from the colosseum with lots of restaurants around. The staff were extremely helpful and aided with booking tickets for tours/days out. The room was what I imagined and what I wanted, large comfortable bed and a decent sized bathroom.
The options for breakfast were very poor for the amount of money paid. Limited to one hot drink, one small glass of juice and only 2 pastries.
The room size was great, particularly for Rome. The friendly and helpful staff made this hotel a wonderful place to stay. I couldn't fault it.
There was nothing for me not to like.
Friendly staff. Rooms small but clean.
Not very flexible. Wanted to leave Rome one day early because of the heat and gave them almost 3 complete days notice and they refused to let us change reservation.
We were given a new apartment instead of a room....we loved the apartment! It was like our own home in Rome! the staff is really nice, it is really near the colliseo and well connected by the subway. I would recommend it to anyone
Great location, staff, and attention to detail during my one night stay... There was an iced bottle of prosecco in the lobby which accented the quaint interior, and the room itself was lovely as well. An amazing deal. Breakfast is partnered with a cafe next door, which I found to be an absolute plus (especially compared with in house hotel breakfasts in Italy). Within walking distance to the train station
Location is excellent for visiting the centre & highlights. Room although a bit small for 4 persons, it was clean and properly equiped, good beds, desk with minibar & safe. Reception (Ricardo) was very friendly & cooperative !
Breakfast was arranged in separate Cafeteria below, which had limited choice, but could be extended against payment.
Location is excellent. The room is very clean and cozy.
The rate is slightly high for BnB and breakfast at the coffee shop next door is very basic.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Happy to help with questions and tourist info. Really central place and great value for money for the location. Able to walk to most places to discover Rome. Really nice long weekend!
Firstly the location was an excellent base for us,very near to the colleseum. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of clean towels, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff if you had a problem.all in all excellent and would certainly stay there again.
The only thing was it was hard to find, you could easily walk straight past it.
Fantastic location, stone's throw from the Colosseum. Location is everything. Rooms were well appointed and the reception team were very friendly and professional. They arranged a very late check-in for us without a hitch. Finally, we had no issues with the breakfast next door - the cafe was friendly and warm.
The toilet smelled and the bed was too small for the two of us. Everything seemed a bit cramped (the shower cubicle in particular).
