Comfortable, clean, close to the train station.
they have flea in their blanket. and i was bitten and complain to the hotel lady, and she have no reaction.
Excellent location! We walked everywhere we went in Florence. We arrived in the evening when no staff were at reception, staff however very helpful and sent us the access codes as well as excellent directions from the station. Staff member was very friendly and helpful with our last minute cooking class booking.
The bar downstairs was really noisy until about 1am on the Friday night, it was also noticeable but not as loud on the Thursday as well. So if you are a light sleeper it could be an issue. Also be aware that this is really a hostel, with lots of stairs to get up with your bags and a shared bathroom.
Nice view from the balcony...
The hotel is making advertisment that it has 24 hours check in but the problem is that nobody is there, only 09:00-13:30 h!!! If you call the number nobody anserws the phone and we had luck we where standing in front of the door just 15 min because other guests opend us the door, (they where waiting one hour before somebody opend the door)... Your name is standing on the door and the keys are in the doorlock.... In my opinion not a working system...
It's Florence, so whatever your accommodations are here, you gotta run OUT and see the city. Everything worked, and its clean. The location is great, hands down.
The simplicity, the balcony and view, the self-sufficiency, the price.
That we could only stay one night.
I did not like anything! the only advantage is the position that is pretty central and close to the railway station
Here a long list.. The staff is very unfriendly, the room is very small and ugly, so much noise coming from outside and from other rooms that it is impossible to sleep. The "common room" (as they call it) is about 2 square metres. No service at all, no shampoo, soap, breakfast, just a ridicoluosly small towel for the shower. The quality/price ratio is outrageous. For the same price (84euro per night) thare are way better places to stay at...
Inexpensive and central.
After a long day of walking and climbing, facing this long flight of stairs was painful.
Location to train station and sightseeing.
False-Advertising - this is a Hostel not a Hotel, 3rd floor climb with bags is a nightmare, staff only available til 1:30pm no secure place to store bags, dingy place, old beds, very old blankets, sheets and pillows, shared bathroom. I was misled and paid way to much for this Hostel.
Nice view from the balcony of the tiny "common room."
This place was extremely hard to find! No directions/names on the street. We got there in the afternoon around 2 PM and the staff had already left. There was a post-it note on the door that said call a number to get the access code. We did not have an Italian phone on us and so weren't able to call the staff member. I somehow got in the door and had to practically beg the guy on the 3rd floor to let me use his phone. Also, no elevators to get up on the 4th floor. If you have big bags, then forget about this place. No staff, no elevators.
Good location. Cheap price.
The employees not so good.
Staff was very accommodating and the facilities were wonderful!
Located on the 3rd floor with no elevator
1. Washbasin inside the room. 2. Location (central and on the street where there were many shops/restaurants; walking distance from major tourist attractions) 3. Staff: Serena was very helpful and guided me on which places to visit and how (esp. Piazza Michelangiolo!). 4. I requested room with balcony which they provided. Loved viewing the Duomo and the night sky from there.
No elevator! There was one but it was not accessible somehow. Had to lug my suitcase and backpack to the 3rd floor :(
The smile boss and clean environment.
No wifi signal in the room, only the public area has wifi signal, it is terrible. No elevator.
location, nice reception staff, very nice and quiet view from terrace, value for money, there is no much room, so very quiet and clean toilet, everything is organized.
when we stay there, at the night, the wifi did not work. but in the morning, when staff came, it worked
Perfect position, a lot of gastro-points nearby. Nice rooms.
Everything was simple and convenient, we arrived late, so there were keys left for us with a nice greeting letter and the map how to find our apartment. The apartment was very clean, fully equipped, cozy with a gorgeous view on Duomo. Although wi-fi didn't work sometimes but there was a computer working 24/7 so if something needed, we used that facility.
Excellent location, close to station, market and the main sights.
Mosquitos - got eaten alive in October, inside the studio!
We had the room with a view and it was just beautiful to look over the rooftops to the Duomo, especially dusk and dawn. the surrounding streets were full of life yet once inside the hotel it was quiet.
Having the kitchen on one side and the shared toilet/bathroom on the other as walls only thin. Very low bed.
Great location near train station and city center, supermarkets and bars next to the hostel. Staff very friendly, we felt that they realy take care of us. We were arriving late at night but received detailed instruction how to enter our room and we could check in next day - it was nice because we were tired and could go directly to the room. We received better room than ordered - with bathroom and kichen.
Wi-fi wasn't accesible in our room, which was in different part of builing. Lack of elevator.
Overall, while nothing in particular stood out to set it apart, nothing was bad either. Apartment setting was nice. Staff is very friendly.
Apt was noted to be on the 3rd floor without elevator access, but ended up being on the 4th floor with a very, very narrow stairway.
Staff only available in the morning so no check-in & had to use door code. If you have to leave early this could be a problem. Furnishings basic; shower - shared- mould in places. Probably value for money in Florence but marginally so. I went for this hotel because of score of 7.7 but I think that is too high.
Wonderful location (5-15 min from all the sights and train station); great view of the Duomo from my window room; really nice staff. In the case of the apartment, the conditions to make meal are very good.
