Locanda Degli Agrumi

Salvatore was a great host. He was always available for any of our concerns, and as he also owns the locanda, he is very willing to solve any issues. The hotel is well-located, very nice and good breakfast.

If I have to say something... well, one of the reasons why we went to this hotel is because they said it has a hot tub. They do, but it wasn´t working on April. They should announce that on their ad.

I booked a stay here after reading the reviews posted by others. However, my experience here was horrible for many, many reasons. I planned to use public transit to get around the Amalfi Coast, and contacted the Locanda BEFORE confirming my stay there to determine how far the property was from the SITA bus. Salvatore said that the Locanda is one kilometre from the road. I sent 3 e-mails to further clarify. In each case, he failed to divulge the truth: that it is on a very steep hill, making it an arduous hike for even able-bodied people. Anyone with luggage, not in shape, seniors or handicapped people cannot make it up this road. When I complained to Salvatore after making my first trek up the hill, and told him that he had misrepresented his location when I wrote him before choosing his Locanda, he told me that I should hire one of his friends for my 4-day stay to drive me around. I replied that my budget did not allow for that, and that I had told him in my e-mails that I wanted to be close to public transit. I asked if he could drive me to the road, since many of the reviews stated that he had done so. He looked at me puzzled -- and refused. On one occasion, I hitchhiked to get down the winding road to the SITA bus. Coming back at night and walking in the dark along this road is not ideal circumstances for women travelling alone. After the long trek, I wanted to take a bath, but there wasn't enough hot water to fill even one bath. I told Salvatore, but he never got back to me. He never offered me another room to resolve any of the issues we had although there were very few guests staying there, not surprisingly. I asked for an extra pillow, and he gave me a lumpy, large square one -- without a pillow case. What hotelier gives a guest a pillow without a pillow case??? The room did not have WiFi, although we were told it did.

Salvatore & Rita's candid, professional and proactive service attitude really made a difference for our journey -- make sure you get their recommendations on what to do and how to move around the amalfi coast!

The view was beautiful, the owners were friendly and our 3 year old really enjoyed the small whirlpool on the deck which we went in several times a day. It served as both entertainment and a place to cool down for our child and not sure what we would have done if it wasn't there! Breakfast was nice and we particularly liked the Caprese cake with our cappucinos!

The wifi internet access that was advertised was important to us as we needed to be in touch with work while away and we wanted our 3-year old to be able to watch things online in the room sometimes to chill out. Unfortunately we were on the top floor in two connecting double rooms and we could not get a connection at all from there so we had to go sit in a corridor on the stairs downstairs anytime we needed to go online. Although it was a bit uncomfortable we managed for work stuff but it obviously didn't work for our child which was a shame. We flagged it up with the owner who was pleasant about it but nothing really he could do. In order to do any activity with a small child you had to travel on buses (eg beach, towns etc) as it's not walking distance. Also the beaches are mostly not sandy which we hadn't thought about as small children like to build sandcastles! There are only two restaurants within any kind of walking distance so although they were fine, we were getting a bit bored of them by the end of a week! All in all a nice location but on reflection unless you have a car, it's probably better for couples than families with small children.

We arrived at Locanda Degli Agrumi after 9.00pm, and were greeted by our Host Salvatore... a wonderful man who made us feel most welcome after a very long... and very winding trip from Rome. Our accommodation was in a very quiet location, but beautiful - directly above the Grotto Smeralda. Salvatore was very helpful in dropping us to the bus stops to ensure that we could get transport around Amalfi. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to all our friends and have infact told quite a few people that we met on our 5 week travels around that they should stay at Locanda. La posizione della struttura, comodissima per visitare la costiera amalfitana e l'entroterra, la tranquillità del luogo, la vista del mare e del panorama dalla stanza, la cordialità, la simpatia, i consigli e la disponibilità dei proprietari Salvatore e Rita che ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio, l'atmosfera familiare e la colazione servita sulla terrazza sotto le piante d'agrumi vista mare con musica in sottofondo, possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto nella struttura...Da consigliare vivamente a chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza in costiera.

La cortesia dei titolari, la posizione incantevole con vista impagabile, la splendida colazione servita all'aperto.

La Locanda es increíble!!!!!! Muy ronmántica!!! La habitación con detalles de diseño, con vista al mar y muy muy limpia. Salvatore y su mujer ( los dueños) divinos, muy acogedores y listos a recomendarte lugares para visitar e ir a comer. Excelente!!!!!

Tutto : il servizio, la camera, l'assistenza, la cura del dettaglio, la cortesia, la disponibilità e la cordialità del proprietario e della sua famiglia.

La "Locanda degli Agrumi", gestita da Salvatore e Rita, è un punto di partenza ideale per visitare la "Divina Costiera", meravigliosa sotto tutti i punti di vista; la pulizia degli ambienti, l'abbondante ed ottima colazione (con super cappuccino preparato al momento da Salvatore), la vista impagabile sono stati i punti di forza del nostro soggiorno a Conca dei Marini. Nonostante l'inclemenza del tempo (2 giorni di quasi "diluvio universale") ricorderemo il week-end in Costiera con il sorriso, grazie soprattutto alla disponibilità di Salvatore. Con il suo prezioso aiuto siamo infatti riusciti a superare brillantemente un "imprevisto" che, seppure ci abbia costretto a rientrare anticipatamente, si è trasformato in occasione per apprezzare la disponibilità disinteressata, la simpatia, la capacità di sdrammatizzare ed affrontare le difficoltà del popolo campano! Locanda degli agrumi si trova in una posizione incantevole per visitare la costiera e offre servizi di ottima qualità. Discrezione,disponibilità e simpatia dei gestori Rita e Salvatore con i loro deliziosi bimbi. Colazione abbondante servita sotto un fresco pergolato di agrumi. Camere molto pulite con balcone vista mare. Consiglieremo agli amici che desidereranno passare le vacanze nei dintorni. Ci torneremo.

Tutto perfetto. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta. La struttura è molto curata e le camere godono di una vista mare stupenda. Consigliatissimo.

Ci è piaciuto tutto e i gestori sono proprio carini. Siamo stati proprio bene: B6b bello, pulito, comodo e che colazione!!!!

Очень дружелюбные, клиентоорентированные хозяева (молодая пара Сальвадор и Рита). Очень понравилось наличие джакузи, после "путешествий" хорошо расслабляет. До моря рукой подать, около 2000 ступенек, похудел на 4 кг., но если позвонить на пляж, то вас привезут и отвезут. Рядом - хороший ресторан, продуктовый магазин, почта, местная церковь. В номерах уютно, чисто, правда иногда проникают мелкие муравьи, но с ними борются. Есть даже лифт с 1-го на 2-й этаж. очень тихое уютное место, кругом лимоны, туристов нет, колокола каждые 20 минут звонят, петухи местные поют, прекрасный вид из окна. Нирвана.

отель не располагает отдых с детьми, он рекомендован для пар любого возраста.

Il b&B.locanda degli agrumi è un piccolo gioiello nel paese di Conca dei Marini.La stanza in cui abbiamo soggiornato,era dotata di tutti I comfort,c'era anche una vasca idromassaggio,luminosa e pulitissima così come tutto il b&B.La colazione era ricca e abbondante,per I golosi da non perdere le piccole sfogliatelle.Il panorama che si gode dal terrazzino è semplicemente meraviglioso.Ma il vero punto di forza della locanda sono I 2 proprietari Salvatore e Rita con I loro fantastici 4 figli,persone splendide che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.Sempre presenti e disponibili,ci hanno guidato in questa fantastica vacanza in costiera.Sembra strano ma basta 1 settimana per affezionarsi a loro

Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und entgegen kommend, Unser Hund war kein Problem. Die Pension ist familiär geführt mit Blick über die Küste, schönen Zimmern und netter Gartenlaube. In der Nähe gibt es ein recht gutes Restaurant. Lediglich der Weg zum Strand ist wie überall an der Amalfi Küste steil und heiß.
