Simone, the manager was outstanding. In all my years of travel, I have never had someone so helpful and willing to give of his time. He should be commended.

Simon, the manager was great. He really went above and beyond to explain everything with regards to the local area and things to do. Wifi worked perfectly, location was great, room was very clean. Even gave me a temporary key so I could store my luggage since my departing train didn't leave until late afternoon.

The manager, Simon takes a great care of the guests and ensures that everything is ok. You get a key to the property and you can come and go how you want. You can leave the hotel so early in the morning for next destination as you need, then the payment is already done and you just leave the key in the box. Unlike some other guests I felt the hotel easy to find, there is a sign on the street and the nigts were calm, no noise at all. Everything was as descriped in the hotel information at the wed-side.

Our hosts, Simon with the smooth skin and adversion to sharks, and Sarah were excellent. It is important to let them know when you anticipate arriving and they meet you and explain all the facilities, even taking you around the local area showing you who and what is where. Extremely clean. Great shower!!! and great location easy walk to La Spezia central train. Quiet in the evening. Feels "exclusive" as there are only a small number of rooms. Solid Wifi connection.

Clean, comfortable, everything we needed for our 3-day stay. Simon was extremely helpful. Perfect base for easy day-trips to Cinque Terre towns. Very close to train station and pedestrian/local shopping area of La Spezia.

Simon was an excellent host, showing the best points of interest of the town and where was good to eat. He goes out of his way for guests. We were able to leave our bags on the last day as we off to Cinque Terre and given the spare key to get the back in. The rooms were clean, bathroom a good size and the family were not on top of one another in the room. Would definitely stay there again on our next visit to the region.

It was in a great location near railway station and the city centre. Free wi fi.

Hotel staffs are extremely warm and helpful. Room is very clean and very safe. Only 5 min from La Spezia Central Station. Definitely will stay there again.

Location, cleanliness, price and the staff. Having now stayed at Locanda del Golfo e delle 5 Terre, we understand why so many previous reviewers have noted how friendly and helpful Simon and his staff are. They were extremely friendly and helpful, providing valuable information on La Spezia and the surrounding area. Simon's local seafood restaurant recommendation was a real treat.

Location is close to the La Spezia Centrale train station, also close to the main street in La Spezia. Convenient for day trip to Cinque Terre and dining in La Spezia. Two resaturant choices for breakfast

The quality of the coffee vending machine is not good.

Extremely easy to get to from the train station; the free wireless was awesome; loved the coffee vending machine (great quality); breakfast was convenient and tasty; and Valentina was very helpful and sweet. It was the perfect accommodation for my family. Oh! and it was on the first floor, which was WONDERFUL so we didn't have to lug backs up and down stairs!

The aesthetics of the bedroom were pretty basic, functional but nothing fancy.

There is no reception Dest and you have to ring a number to find out where reception is. Hotel is located In an apartment and it is very hard to find.

We visited here in April this year, we felt everything comfortable with Simon and the room so we choose it again this time. Hooever this time Even we already informed the girl when will we arrive and call the girl again one hour before(because there's no reception) she's still late for 15mins. Worst thing is at night time it's horrible noise no matter from the street or the people chatting on the hallway. Very hard to fall asleep. The breakfast is simple, coffee and a bread in the near coffees hop. It's totally not tasty and the staff is with a poker face, not friendly at all. I won't choose this hotel ever again.
