The hotel room is really beautiful, the breakfast served to your room makes the stay pretty amazing. The staff is really helpful and welcoming. It is a little difficult to find at the first time. But once you know where exactly it is, then the location is pretty convenient, close to the Rialto bridge and just next to town fish market (sometimes bring fishy smell though)

Very nice small hotel. Helpful reception staff. Nice continental breakfast brought to the room. Room was well presented, very clean with nice period furnishing. We enjoyed our stay & would be happy to recommend and stay again. Great location close to Rialto market and bridge. Easy walk to San Marco exploring little alleyways and shops.

Window looked out on one of the canals. Staff friendly. Asked of 2 single beds, but they only had a single double bed. As I was traveling with my adult son, this was awkard, but we made do. They offered to change our room to the 2 beds the next day.

The location was fantastic (once we found it - the entrance is off a small alleyway, off another small alleyway!), and the staff were very friendly. The room was quite basic, but very clean and appropriate for the price.

Unique opportunity to get lost in the narrow streets of Venice without dealing with any motor vehicles... Cars, trucks, motor bikes are all prohibited in Venice.

As soon as we stepped in we felt like home. Fabrizio (or Maurizio?) was there for us, he spent time illustrating what to do for the short time we would spend in town. Every time we were back at the hotel he checked on us and wanted to make sure we were having a great time. It will be our home every time we'll be back in Venice. Thanks. It was only for two days... ;-(

Location is near the water-bus station and we stayed in a room near the canel and it was interesting to have the fish and fruit market nearby that makes life slightly more bustling if one prefers.

Super-friendly staff, nice rooms, excellent location. I'll definitely stay here again if I come to Venice! I read that it was supposed to be hard to find, but on the contrary. Once you get the hang of it it's the easiest spot to find in Venice. Just follow the signs Per Marco/Per Rialto (or Piazzale Roma/Per Ferravia, depending on where you're walking from), and take left(/right) just before(/after) the bridge where you see the sign Poste Vecie on an adjacent bridge, enter the alley and you're there. Or enter the restaurant Poste Vecie and ask there. Also, the staff sent me an e-mail a couple of weeks before my stay here and gave directions. Friendly and helpful, as always. Breakfast is delivered to your room at your requested time. Small but sufficient selection. The beds are a bit short for two long Swedes (170 respectively 186 cm) but that's not a major issue. If you happen to enter the near-by fish market, watch out for the smell seagulls! They are quite big and so are their droppings...

Very nice and very small hotel with very kind staff. Pay attention to the phrase: "a continental breakfast is served to your room each morning." You will have to choose what and in what particular time will be delivered to your room next morning. This is quite unusual and nice service customisation. Don't miss to order the chocolate ;-) Please pay attention that under certain circumstances it could smell bad behind the window since there is a small channel and the fish market is near to the hotel but this is the peculiarity of Venice -- just keep this fact in mind and be ready to close the window and rely on the air conditioning that works well in this hotel.

Although not situated in a high visibility setting, we loved the location of our hotel. We had room #14 at the top of the building. We could watch fish and produce being loaded on the fish market from our window. Simple breakfast delivered to room was very nice. 5 minute walk to Rialto Bridge was an easy one. Most of the grand canal restaurants were right there. The dollar value was superb. We were able to stay in Venice without breaking the bank. No lift. All stairs. No problem for us, but could be a concern for others.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge. The reception was warm and the room immaculate. Large modern bathroom. The air conditioning worked great. The dinner we had at the restaurant was the best we had in our ten days in Italy. The fish Risotto is fantastic. You order breakfast ahead (night before). We ordered almost everything on the list and it arrived 10 minutes early, they roll it into your room on a trolley. Very convenient, everything we ordered was there and more. The cappuccino was great. I knew how to find it from tips on the internet. Went straight to the entrance in a narrow alley at the end the bridge by the fish market. We enjoyed our stay and did not understand the complaints we read on the internet. Had a room for four, the beds were comfortable for us and the kids. Recommended. The hotel is a little expensive but what is not expensive in Venice. It was a lot less expensive then the big hotels. The meal cost us a little more then we were used to spending on the trip but the service and atmosphere were great, the food was great and we did get a 15% discount because we were staying at the hotel. We walked to the hotel from the train station. I learned the route by heart ahead of time and made it without getting lost. We left most of the luggage in the car and took small packs with what we needed for the stay. This worked out fine. We took a boat back just to get to cruise down the grand canal.

The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is located close to Rialto Bridge and very convenient for exploring the City, The room was thoroughly cleaned every day during the 5 day stay and towles were replaced regularly. It is difficult to find, although close to the Rialto Bridge vaporetto (water taxi) stop. A simple map should be placed as a link on the website
