The friendly and helpful staff, the delicious breakfast (with unlimited cappuccino), the beautiful architecture, the modern and comfortable bathroom, excellent location, the free fast WiFi.

The thin walls let you hear the screaming match from next door. Its location right next to the waterway means you get awakened by the occasional drunken loud gondola.

The staff was very polite and the location, albeit hard to find in the beginning, was very good. The breakfast was good as well.

Checkout is a bit early (by 10 am) and is a bit of a challenge to find the hotel in the narrow streets. The biggest letdown though was the lack of hot water. The water was at best relatively warm, certainly not hot enough to take a shower. This should be addressed.

Everything about this place and it's owners is fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great!

The air conditioning takes a long time to cool down the room

We took a water taxi from the airport and were dropped off very close to the hotel. The hotel is off of a very narrow alleyway, but that is not a problem at all. We didn't have to slepp our suitcases over any bridges. It was literally a two minute walk from the drop off place. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious. I wish we were able to stay longer. A very nice place. You will not be disappointed.

The lobby is tiny and the rooms are all up stairs. This is really not a problem, because the owner graciously brought our bags to our rooms.

    Location

We could hear people walk above our room. Restaurant downstairs washing dishes at midnight. Not good for sensitive sleeper.

The wonderful staff, Maurizio and Laura, who made every effort to make our stay a happy one. The beautifully presented, ample and healthy breakfasts. The comfortable bed. Wifi that actually worked ALL the time. The room was quite large with a big walk in shower in the bathroom. I could go on and on. Thank you again.

While the instructions for finding the hotel were quite clear we still got a little lost on the first night. Our fault.

The owner of the hotel is there during the day and he is very helpful. The location is very central, but being near the fish market, it smells when you open the window. It is noisy as well in general. The hotel is in a walking distance to wherever you would need to see. Otherwise, it is also very close to vaporetto.

Indeed a Gem hidden in Venice! To be honest our first impressions were 'omg what have to booked ourselves into!' after seeing the thin dark passage leading into the hotel. But once we went in and stepped into the reception i knew it was all going to be different. The owner was really really friendly and very welcoming. All eleven of us got codes for free wifi without any hassel. The rooms were big and airy, nothing to envy against the 4* hotels in Venice, all antique furniture too, beautiful! Breakfast is lovely too, owner has set up a small room with few tables and offers great continental breakfast. Location is excellent, 2 minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge.

Nothing :) will definately return to this hotel when ever i return to Venice

Very close to the Rialto Market vaparetto stop, which makes it an easy walk to the Rialto bridge. Like most things in Venice, it's a bit tough to find, but the hotel manager will email very explicit directions from the vaparetto stop. Sig. Papa, who was manning the desk as well as corresponding with me, was extremely helpful in all matters, as well as a truly friendly and pleasant person to interact with. I would definitely stay again if staying in Venice.

It's a bit of a hike from Piazzale Roma and the train station, so if you have an early morning departure, I'd suggest finding someplace closer to these transportation hubs.
