Locanda Re Ruggero is set opposite the cathedral in the historic centre of Monreale, a picturesque town on the slopes of Mount Caputo. The air-conditioned rooms all feature free Wi-Fi. Your room at Re Ruggero has an individual design. Rooms are decorated in bright or calming colours and have tiled or wood floors and flat-screen TVs. The Locanda's restaurant serves Italian specialities and you have a great choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood. On request, breakfast is served in cafès nearby. Re Ruggero is just around the corner from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the Royal Palace. It has good bus links to Palermo, 8 km away. Super location, good size rooms, very hospitable and helpful staff (owner helped us to find on-street parking, decent restaurant at hotel (inc 10% discount) It is a shame the mattress was a bit 'flimsy' and ‘foam’ pillows not really comfortable. Luckily we did not have to fork out the 20 Euro off-street parking as the owner helped us to find a space on the street.

Great location and atmosphere, beautifully restored building, spotless. We stayed at the suite at the top of the building with incredible views. The owner was a delightful and making sure that we are happy and comfortable. 100% recommended. There are plenty of places to have breakfast around. The restaurant in the main floor of the bulling was good. For special dinner, go to Taverna Del Pavone (5 minute’s walk)to get one of the best meals in Sicily. The ovner will advise where to park for free.

The extreme helpfulness of the staff, esp the manager, who made sure that our car was parked safely in the public lot. The location was perfect--a direct view of the apse of the cathedral from our balcony

Beautiful 17th century room with warm tiles, ceramics and bathroom, balcony overlooking cathedral, wonderful host and associated restaurant. Breakfast standing at crowded bar across square, cheap but limited to one coffee and pastry/pizza

Very nice and comfortable room, good location in the centre of town Staff said it was only possible to park at the very (excessively) expensive public parking area nearby, whereas in fact it turned out to be possible to find free and perfectly legal parking spots in town as well, if you pay a little bit of attention to where it is and where it is not allowed

It is a great hideaway location for visiting Palermo. Besides being a wonderful historic location and a relaxing village by itself, a bus to/from Palermo allows a quiet stay while visiting a frantic city. Perfect combination! Giuseppe Pitti is the best host!

The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious. There was a fine view of Monreale Cathedral nest door!!! (a medieval wonder of the world with fine gold mosaics). This view, along with the comfort, made the place first class. We had to pay for parking because the hotel is in a wonderful place so close to the cathedral. This was 20 euros for a secure manned local car park for 24 hours. This is something the hotel cannot help, due to location.

Great location; the staff is very nice and helpfull; the rooms are big and have a beautiful decoration; the bathrooms are also big and very clean; very good relation quality/price. It was a wonderful choice!

Ottima accoglienza, il proprietario gentile e molto disponibile. Posizione nel centro di Monreale a fianco della cattedrale. Stanze spaziose, pulite, ben arredate, con bagno ampio e funzionale. Sono stato benissimo, lo consiglio vivamente.

El hotel es muy nuevo, nosotros nos ubicamos en los apartamentos que tienen as la vuelta, estaba impecable todo!! Recomiendo llegar a Monreale muy temprano por la mañana o despues de las 18 hs ya que sino se hace imposible llegar al hotel porque todo esta cortado y muy mal señalizado.

Le b&b est très bien situé, à côté de la magnifique cathédrale de Montreale. La petite ville se visite facilement à pied. Les chambres sont grandes et récemment rénovées, très agréables.

Nous sommes arrivés le jour de la fête de la procession --> donc beaucoup de monde et pas de stationnement. La personne qui nous a accueillis, nous a même garé notre véhicule! Nous avons bénéficié d'une suite très spacieuse, au dernier étage, et du salon nous avons pu voir les feux d'artifices.C'était magique !! La chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bains magnifique. Tout est décoré avec soin. De la Suite, la vue sur la cathédrale est superbe. Que du bonheur!! De plus le matin, le petit déjeuner se prend sur la terrasse du bar face à la cathédrale!! Génial!! Merci. Rien, tout était très bien.

De ligging van het pension, en de inrichting van de kamer en badkamer met zeer comfortabele handdoeken. Wij reden de Locanda de eerste keer voorbij: verwachtten het stadje kleiner en misten de aanduiding van het pension.

Nous avons eu la suite au dernier étage avec une vue magnifique sur le Duomo. Cette suite comporte une grande chambre avec une grande salle de bain . A coté une pièce avec un lit canapé, par contre pas très confortable. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans un bar situé sur une très jolie place face au Duomo. Cette hôtel comprend également une pizzeria. Le propriétaire est très sympa. La pièce avec le canapé lit peu confortable n'a aucun volet. Juste des rideaux rouges qui ne cachent pas le moins du monde la lumière. Manque d'insonorisation par rapport à la rue. Parking privé pour 15€. Trop cher.

Ein ur-italienisches, sehr liebe- und stilvoll nagelneu gestaltetes kleines Hotel direkt am Dom. Äußerst freundliches Personal garantiert ein sehr sauberes Zimmer und abends im eigenen Ristorante ein preisgünsiges hervorragendes Essen. Top-Lage!

La taille de la chambre et les équipements L'accueil et notre hôte très serviable le lit avec matelas un peu suranné la situation sur la rue...jour de fête = impossible de dormir Parking = apocalypse ! Heureusement le patron nous a arrangé la chose en confiant véhicule à un collaborateur qui s'est chargé de la stationner...moyennant 15 €

Sehr gut gelegen, im Zentrum, großes, schönes und gemütliches Zimmer, nettes Personal. Frühstück außerhalb in einer Bar, 3 Gehminuten entfernt.
