The clean spacious rooms. The amazing views from the balconey. The tranquility at night. The friendly family staff. The wonderful trattoria with amazing food.
Slightly isolated from most sights.
Peace and quiet away from the busy Amalfi tourist zone. Gluten free breakfast. Bus stop right outside locanda to get down to Amalfi fantastic seafood at a very reasonable rate
Need to get WIFI sorted
The view! You can't fault it! Worth paying that little bit more for sea view. Jan-Marie (sorry if misspelled) lovely host, very helpful and accommodating. Thanks for the T bags. Rooms very clean, cleaned everyday'. Breakfast typically Italian, more cakes than anything. They should maybe think about cereals to. UK visitors aren't used to cake for breakfast, even tho they were lovely!
The only things we didn't like were out of Locanda's control. Noise from other guests -Couple next to us having a good time. Unfortunately you can hear literally everything. IF DRlVlNG- beware if you've never been before. The roads are windy and very narrow. At times only enough for 1 car, resembling cart tracks with cement on. On saying that, Its not Locanda's fault and its worth the journey.
Very helpful staff, wonderful sea views and nice room with balcony. Breakfast was very good and their restaurant was outstanding. Off-street parking was a great bonus.
Beautiful view from bedroom. Good food in restaurant and very helpful staff
Irregular bus service
The reception by snga Ilaria was very nice. Her brother Gianmaria is very friendly and ready to help. The location is breathtaking , the food at brfst and at dinner excellent. Ilaria's delizie de limone is the best on the Amalfi Coast. I would return tomorrow. Price in June very attractive. A real find.
I had to leave at the end of vacation.....
eye popping scenery and wonderful staff giving the hotel a family feel. Quiet location on a very busy coastline. Vinyards and lemon groves (and limoncello!)
steep and busy roads in and out.
Good dinner Helpful staff Nice view from rooms
Very noisy rooms, from upstairs you hear every single step. Breakfast buffet wasn't too rich. The way to Furore uphill needs to be done over a street close to Amalfi, kind of a dead end road, so lot of driving if you want to go to Praiano or Positano for ex.
Illaria and Pino are the perfect hosts: friendly and helpful. We had a lovely view from our balcony; did all the possible hikes in the area. Pino took us up to Agerola whenever we wished as a few lovely walks start there. We spent more than 3 weeks on the Amalfi Coast but our stay at Locanda Ripa delle Janare was the very best of all.
No WiFi connection; could not find any English channel on TV either.
