location on the edge of 'improving' Trastevere good places to eat nearby unusual layout
very noisy neighbourhood at night unstaffed nearly all the time baffling entry and exit procedures small room with big bed!
Good A/C. Staff was super nice. Great restaurants close by.
Hot water heater a bit temperamental.
The location is perfect, close to the city centre, next to lots of places to eat & go out but still peaceful. The breakfast included everything we needed with a wide a variety of products.
Very nice location, clean rooms, breakfast.
Noisy outside at night, no iron.
The receptionist, Syria, was the most amazingly helpful person. She made sure we had everything we needed, super friendly and even arranged for an early breakfast as we had a flight to catch. Location of this hotel is great and the facilities more than enough! Really recommend both the hotel and Trastevere as an area that mustn't be missed!
Slightly hard to find the right place once you're inside the main gate, as in which staircase to go up and what floor.
Trastevere is a cool neighborhood, thats all that this place has going for it.
The staff is rude. All they care about is their restaurant next door. We didnt have hot water and were told we had to wait an hour because they were "too busy" at their restaurant. We did not deserve to be treated second class to their restaurant patrons. The room was so small, and in a noisy courtyard with no sound proof windows. The air conditioner made a loud clicking noise that would disturb us while sleeping so much we had to turn it off. The bathroom had a disgusting sewage smell the entire time. Reception would disappear and you wouldn't be able to find them, but they would usually be at their precious restaurant downstairs. We had no help with any of our questions or concerns. The included breakfast was nasty. The bread tasted stale and the milk was sitting out for who knows how long.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance to all major attractions in Rome. Transport to station and other places easily accessible. The breakfast menu offered a good selection. Lots of shops and stalls within short walking distance. A vast variety of restaurants within walking distance each offering its own Roman specialty. Overall an enjoyable stay at a well located inn. Loved the atmosphere!!!!!
The room is rather small, but for the amount of time spent in it, it is adequate. If you get the rooms overlooking the Piazza it is very noisy of an evening as 'night-life' is on until about 4:00 in the morning and then they set up for the fruit market....so very busy. But, hey that's Rome.
Clean Very close to tram and 2 min walking distance to Piazza santa maria Clean with required amenities
Small room with barely any space to move around.
location is TOP! Trastevere is lovely and there are many locals hagging out here whcih I liked very much. Basically, the hotel rooms are on a floor of an old apartment where you can get a flavour of daily life of romans. Breakfast is OK.
Transportation is limited. You need to take Tram # 8 to go anywhere outside of Trastevere.
Location was perfect. Trastevere is the best to stay in Rome. Room and bathroom were clean and big enough for two people.
Spacious room, very clean. Very handy having a fridge in the room. Location is good overall. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Wi-fi not great (but not a big deal) and a little noisy in the morning as businesses outside are setting up for the day.
excellent location in the heart of Transtevere. the room was clean and the staff helpful
breakfast is not continental
-very friendly staff. They helped us anytime we needed them. -great room facilities. They had a brochure with the monuments you must see, restaurants you have to go and many more. -best value for money!!
-the distance from the hotel to the great monuments. -kinda crowdy location.
Excellent location, great atmosphere, friendly staff, easy walking distance to all the sites, linked to a great restaurant. We will be returning..
Location is great for Rome trip. We rented bike from 300 meter at north side. Excellent choice for 3 day Rome trip. Owner can not speak English but there was a young lady who was fluent.
Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms clean and simple. Located in a busy, attractive area of town. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby.
Noisy at night.
I loved the location- Trastevere is beautiful, and close to everything! I also loved the cleanliness of the room, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved the small town, the close proximity to restaurants, it was super easy to take the H tram to get into Rome to see the sites. The staff in the bar were very helpful to help us get a cab to the airport. Great place to stay!
Friendly, helpful staff. Felt safe. Nice breakfast.
Mattress was a little stiff.
The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was better than we expected. The room was basic, but very clean.
The picture of the square on Booking.com is Campo dei Fiori. The Piazza di San Cosimato where the hotel actually is located, is not at nice as Campo dei Fiori. Trastevere is very busy on Saturday night and the room is very noisy.
Located right on the Piazza San Cosimato, this B&B offers a real italian experience. Staff is very helpful, and location is relatively quiet compared to some other parts of trastevere. Perfect for short night stays during a city-trip.
Rooms are really small and are just a part of the typical apartment building.
Location is the best in the bohem area (Trastevere).
Breakfast is poor.
Location was great. Hotel room small but very clean. Had a balcony on 2nd floor where guests could have a ciggie. Would use this hotel again.
Small room, but your only there to shower and sleep,no English TV channels for news.
Location was brilliant, really easy to walk to central sites of Rome.
The internet wasn't great, wifi was up and down which made getting online in the hotel a bit of a pain. Ethernet sockets didn't work either, so had to head out to a near by bar to use the internet.
We were really happy that we decided for the accommodation in Trastevere district. It has a lot of bars, restaurants and ambient and the prices are much friendlier than in the center.
