My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in early July ’14 and loved it. It’s a steep little drive up the hill to the B&B, but it was more than worth it for the fantastic view of the countryside as well as the sense that you are really out in the authentic hills of Tuscany. The grounds of the B&B are stunning with huge lavender plants, flowers, trees, olive trees, etc. and great little sitting places to enjoy nature and the view.
We stayed in the old church room, which was one of the most unique sleeping experiences we’ve had. I particularly liked the bathroom, which was pretty big and built into the stone and with wood beams. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated, highlighting the architectural integrity of the old church. No air-conditioning, but they provided a fan, which helped keep things cool.
The hosts, Massimo and Sonya, where so kind and gracious. They have the gift of hospitality. Each morning they prepared an amazing breakfast, which was made completely from scratch. I had the best pastries and croissants of my life. They also serve fresh fruit from their garden.
All in all, I highly recommend a stay here! It’s like a little piece of heaven on earth.
