Most visitors head to the castle, the port, and the beach and as the town is raised above the port and beach, it's a bit if a steep climb to the hotel. On most nights you could find a parking place closer to the sea though.
Our room was in the annexe. This purposely-built residence of six rooms is well organized, with Intercom facilities, strong wifi connections, lift, nicely furnished rooms, good sized bathroom, powerful shower, good double glazing to keep out the sound of motorinos, AC, nice bed and bathroom linen, and a mini bar. Breakfast was in the main hotel and it had a nice selection: cereals, yoghurt, fruit, Sicilian pastries, cakes, bread, crackers, olives, caponata, filo pastry pies, ricotta, honey and jams..... Parking was not a problem in the streets off the main one. Staff, particularly Alberto, were genuinely helpful.
