Kind staff, delicious breakfast

Breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and clean.

wholegrain bread would have been excellent. There was some noise at night. The walls could have been thicker, we could hear neighbours shower and shave.

Perfect location when arriving from Trapani airport, only 40 minutes drive. Location in the centre of Castellamare Del Golfo and ample parking in front of the hotel. Cocktail bar just round the corner with life music and a couple of pubs in vicinity! The breakfast was superb for a 2 star hotel and compared to the price we paid with fresh bread, ham, salami, cheese, cakes, crossiants etc. Our room was quite large and very cosy with LCD TV, fridge and airconditioning. Very friendly owner who gave us a good welcome although we arrived late, keep it up and thanks.

Quite a lot of stairs, but for us was not a problem at all.

The small double on the 3rd floor has a great terrace.

Stairs steep and difficult,Beds poor quality. Breakfast average. the whole place seemed very rundown- in need of a makeover.

not a good quality for the money paid. The phone, TV & hair dryer were not working. Only one person spoke very Basic English, no receptionist was available duing the night. No excursion was available. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, it's Ok for one night stay.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast on the roof of the hotel, Miss Rosa who prepared breakfast and her helpfulness and smile, location quite close to the historic centre, large and spacious room.

Quite far to the nearest beach.

A good deal for price, Sicilian old style building and interior design, staff is really friendly and ready to help (excurtions). Breakfast includes not only sweets and cofee, but even eggs, mortadella, cheese, fruits, juice, cereals and vegetables - really rich for the hotel of the range. Cofee best ever!

Distance from a sandy beach is quite long, there's a shuttle, but you depend on it's shedule and you have to pay abt 6 euro (there and back). The beach which is near is not exactly sandy and small.

AMAZING breakfast, full of typical sicilian food.. limitless! really friendly staff. The room was very nice with a large bath.

the locanda was divided into 2 buildings and we got the one very close to the street so it was a bit noisy.

Is very near to the harbour, that is the downtown for Castellammare. Good price/quality, with some weak points as in the cons. Castellammare is a nice town but it lacks beaches in the immediate nearby, so you'll need a car (to reach Scopello, i.e.).

The shower didn't have curtains, so the water spilled off on the bathroom floor. The room was located in a depandance nearby the main building, so we had to go out to have breakfast (just 3 minutes by feet) and we suffered the heavy traffic in the street below in the morning.

The breakfast was like no other!!! The rooms where spacious and the building had beautiful old features... Very good in general, private entrance so you don't have to see anyone if you don't want to.

I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the street I never have a problem sleep or with noise, but Italy is loud!!!

Cheap and location regarding Trapani Airport

Central but secluded, quiet courtyard in the middle of town !

Creditcard terminal was clearly functioning, but "out of order" according to the receptionist.....bad acting !

I really enjoyed staying at Locanda Scirocco. Hotel staff is excellent, really helpful, welcoming and understanding. We got a lovely room on the ground floor when I informed them that I am pregnant. The room had everything one needs, the bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were abundant, there was a great choice of cereal, fresh pastries, prosciutto, juices, etc. The location of the hotel is very convenient, central and close to the beach as well. Thanks for such a great time!

The internet was a bit on a slow side.

We stayed at an annex, 100 meters from the main building. Our room was a little small, but nice and comfortable. The location was very good, with only 15 min walk to the beach. The breakfast is delicious and hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, they also speak quite good english.

Only negative thing we can mention is the shower: some days you needed to run the shower for 10 minutes before the water was warm.
