Great value Close to restaurants, delis and shops
Lots of stairs but okay.
The view from my window and the closeness to Piazza S.Marco.
The room, the beds, the bathroom and the poor wifi signal
Location, quietness, sitting area, good breakfast
Bathroom tiny, beds narrow, ceiling leaked during heavy rainfall, no tea making facility
Location, good value
Location is good, room is nice and clean. Bathroom is good and clean
Carried my bags to the 4th floor :(
Very close to all of the tourist areas
Hotel was central and facilites were enough to get by, room was clean and price was ok for Central Venice.
There was no wifi in the room, breakfast was standard and staff weren't too friendly/helpful.
The location was excellent. Nice, clean rooms and working breakfast. Wonderful personnel ! The cleaners doesn't disturb in the mornings before you left the room, which made staying enjoyable.
close to main square. but not easy to go to station. You need to walk a lot with baggage.
wi-fi is only 2 hours per day, but connection is bad, so I couldn't use properly. There are bugs, I don't know it is bed bug or just mosquito, but I was bitten by them a lot. Poor breakfast, just breads, cheese, coffee and yogurt. that's it.
Great location, rooms are spacey and very clean. Breakfast included in price.
location is great . Near San Marco , just around the corner. That is about it . My room was near a canal and I had a nice view
unfriendly staff, especially the older guy with some hair on his head left and right is horrible. Was shouting at me since he had a problem with internet when I was asking a new password . This is the second hotel in my life where I really didnt feel welcome at all. The younger lady is friendlier. I felt like I was in a monastery, no tv, no radio. Wifi was very bad. U get a password for two hours , then u need to ask for another one and not appreciated by the staff. room is dirty, mold in the bathroom, dirty airco full of dust . dust on the bed . like a layer . the same lady who does breakfast cleans also the room. It takes about 5 minutes ( I was there in the room while she was cleaning ) I dont know what she did but after 'cleaning ' the bathroom , she left it with a horrible stench of smelly feet . Behind the bathroommirror I could find two dirty toiletpaperrolls with a dirty glass. Floor in the room needs some wet cleaning , besides the room is full of mosquitos. Funny thing . there is this thing you plug in for that but there was no tablet to put in . breakfast: same cleaning lady. no smile at all.. three small dry rolls .. a croissant. the last day it was so burned I didnt eat it . Hard like a rock. I felt very disappointed that I took this hotel. Venice is a wonderfull city .. Never again !!! Next time I will certainly read the reviews first .
Struggle to get the wireless passwords. Has to ask few times a day and the staffs are so stingy with stingy to provide one. Housekeeper came and knocked the door 3 times during our last day of stay reminding our time to checkout which is 11am, and kept pointing at her watch - speaking in Italian. First knock was around 9am in the morning, and she took away the bathroom mat when we went for breakfast. She came again around 5 past 10am, asking us when are we leaving, that we should check out with her poor English. I have never stayed in a hotel like this before, and I will definitely not going back to this place ever!
For Venice the price was right. Breakfast was better than described in reviews here. Location was decent, near San Marco. Bathroom is tiny and shower was shared down the hall... a bit of a stretch when paying 85 euro a night. TIP - check out Murano and definitely go on to Burano!
Venice prices for what you get.
Excellent location, inexpensive and fabulous staff. Pretty good breakfast too.
The bed was a bit hard
Exceptional customer service - friendly, helpful, kind. Great proximity to St. Mark's Square. Room that could accommodate a family of four. Tasty morning breakfast to get your day started.
?Dust? on bathroom ceiling.
Excellent location close to St Marco's piazza. Corner room with fabulous views. Great breakfast. Excellent map of Venice given outby hotel
For the money which was about 200 bucks it was adequate. Location is the selling point, room is very simple, breakfast when comparing it other places we stayed was below par. Will we stay again probably not.
I found poo in the toilet when I arrived. It 's so poor standard.
Great location, great price, very comfortable.
Some staff was surly.
good location near San Marco. The hotel emailed instructions on how to find the hotel. They stored my bag when I arrived before my room was ready. Breakfast was included and was more than adequate.
had to pay for wifi
Great setting. Nice staff. Very helpfull.
3 AM curfew? I paid $85 euros for my room.
Friendly staff at breakfast.
No water view room. Very expensive for room with no free wifi. No lift, had to drag luggage 2 floors up, no assistance with luggage. Address on booking.com not correct/accurate. Aircon needs servicing, didn't work properly.
when we booked this hotel it said there was wifi.it didn't say 2 hours a day & then you had to pay a fee to use. The maid came to clean the room @ 8:30am and woke us up. she came back @ 11:15 and walked right in saying we were supposed to be out by 11am. my reservation said 12noon
location is near St. Macro square, but it is very difficult to find this hotel. staff is okay.
to be honest, I don't recommend this hotel to others. room is very dirty, there are Mosquitos inside the room, the water basin is very dirty, the wifi is only for 2 hours free per day, which is not matched from the website, and wifi is very slow. the pics from booking is not real as it is. anyway, please don't choose this hotel if you have the better choice. the price of this hotel is not worth as it is.
