The hotel was idea for our needs, 1euro bus journey from directly outside Treviso airport, or 15 euros by taxi.
we had a very large room at the top of the building, with lots of room, open beams and nice touches.
Breakfast was good, typically Italian with pastries, juice etc.
The first night we arrived a little late and couldnt find a nearby restaurant open, we didnt want to go into Treviso, so eventually got a couple ot take away pizzas from a shop almost next door, and ate them back at the hotel, the owner supplied us with cutlery etc!...dont be fooled, take away pizzas in Italy are so much different from what we get here!
The bus into town was just outside the hotel and tickets can be purchased in the tobacconist, next to the pizza shop!
Treviso is a lovely town, and shouldnt be missed, we had lunch one day in a small restaurant and was excellent!
I dont think we disliked anything, we knew the location which was a little out of Treviso, the last bus back is around 8.30pm, so if you miss it, its a 20 euro taxi ride.
The trains into venice are quick and inexpensive, but without getting up too early, and getting out, it was around 11.30- midday before we got into Venice , taking into account the bus from the hotel etc.
if you were only visiting Venice for a day or two, it may be worthwhile to consider staying in the city, however with Ryanair flying to Trevisio, it seemed a good idea to see a little more of a more typical local town.
