Brilliant location, helpful friendly staff, great accommodation and good food in exceptional surroundings.

We had an unfortunate incident with a smell from the ventilation, but the staff were very helpful and immediately put us into another, even better room. I couldn't fault their response to the issue.

I like the location, it is very close to the San Marco, and most of the attraction places in Venice, the cleanness of the room, plus the arrangment, The bathroom is well designed, i like the water tub, it has a jackozi vibration system, wow for relaxing after a long day walking.

walls need soundproof, it is a bit noisy at the morning, but it didn't bother me at all.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at throughout the world. The hotel is old world and typical Venetian decore with smallish but well laid out and excellently appointed rooms. The location is fantastic. We had a normal room overlooking the canal but to our pleasant surprise it also provided a great view of the lagoon.The staff were exceptional.Warm, caring and genuinly friendly. Particularly Armondo, Rodney, Barbara and Marco. It was as if we were part of their family. We had one small problem with our shower head and it was fixed within minutes. Their knowledge of Venice and the time they took to help us was something we will always remember. We had a bad experience with one of their associate hotels and even though it was not their problem, they went out of their way to make sure things were fixed.

Superb location. Great views from the room. Helpful staff. Good facilities. Comfortable room with all you need to enjoy the stay. Breakfast of good variety, presentation and quality. If we return to Venice and want to be in the heart of things we would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

Great location for public transport, & St Marcos, very nice fresh hearty breakfasts with everything you could want, tea served in china pots and cups & saucers whenever you wanted it (great for tea drinkers). Free internet use for checking in on line, helpful friendly service to book tickets for opera & concerts. Nice touch to invite guests up to roof terrace for welcome drink, the view is lovely! Beautiful surroundings and very comfy beds with soft pillows and nice freash linen. Nice & quiet for sleeping in with late breakfasts till10:30am, very civilised! Fabulous hotel can't wait to go back!

Great location,right on the main lagoon in Venice. Larger than normal room,with balcony overlooking the waterway. Close to St Marks and shopping. I upgraded to a waterfront the second night of stay. Breakfast had hot as well as cold selections and set in a well appointed and inviting area of the hotel. There was a nice outdoor bar area on the fourth floor overlooking the canals as well .

Air conditioning in room was marginal.

This hotel is realy wonderful exellent in everything , very near to city center wonderfull view just wonderfull and I will back to this hotel agian and again

The location was excellent, with a lovely view over St Marks bay and square. The style of the hotel was lovely without being over the top. It was also small and quiet, even though it was in the centre of everything. The breakfast was delicious and the overall service was very good. I would stay there again.

There were five of us altogether, 3 in one room and 2 in the other. I had booked superior rooms hoping for more space and I found the room we had a bit small for 3. Other than that everything else was fine.

Ultimate hotel and location .. Worth spending money on this hotel.

The hotel was easy to get to from the air port. The internet was free. Breakfast was included.

During the day the area around the hotel is very busy.
