My husband and I stayed at this hotel during the last weeks of August. It is very hot this time of year and the hotel knows very well that they have substandard airconditioning. Yet they fully book their hotel with guests in rooms that don't have adequate AC and are extremely uncomfortable. THe hotel let us move rooms after our first night but none of the available rooms were much better. The hotel is quite run down and our bathroom was not clean. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It has a unique feel, but until they fix it up, its not worth the money. |

close proximity to the locations we wanted to visit. Garden area was nice. room not ready on time, lift out of operation at times which is not favourable when you have to carry a baby & stroller, pavement reconstruction work meant we had to step out straight onto road as path was blocked off, again not favourable with small children. |

The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful and lively parts of the city. The wash-out in the bath wasn't good enough and we were not the only who faced this problem. |

Room was small but clean. The bed was confortable. The breakfast was good. They hade a wide selection ranging from joghurt, cereals, eggs, ham, bacon, sweet stuff.... I really liked the fresh fruit salad. However; the coffee did not taste good. Breakfast was either outside or inside and there was always enough space. The location was nice. Fruits were also available to take in the hotel. Internet was for free. I can recommend the area around Piazza Navona for dinner. my boyfriend did not like breakfast music |

We booked the night before and on arival had been up graded to delux in the annex building top floor so a good start. The breakfast was of a good standard, fresh pasterys, fruit, bread. Very well positioned in the city. Over all we were very happy with are stay/price and would recommend a stay here in Rome.( We asked in the email not to have a room on a wall, as some people have reported). The only down side was the road works going on outside the front door i suspect they wont last long as the cobbles were going back down as we left, and we asked for a lemonade to quench our thurst at the bar and recived freshly squeezed lemons, undrinkable unless u like wincing on every sip! |

The location was OK for sightseeing. Everything in walking distance. The hotel need refurbishment....This hotel does not deserve 4 stars in my mind.. The breakfast was average as well. |

Staff were very helpful and friendly Air conditioning did not keep room cool enough. We were very hot at night. Also, when I arrived to check in I was asked for a passport which I didnt have as we had only travelled to Rome from Siena. I had phoned to confirm my booking the day before and no mention was made of bringing a passport. However we were allowed to stay after leaving details of names and dates of birth. |

Without hesitation, I must note (1) lucky location of the Hotel, (2) warmest atmosphere created by the Hotel staff, (3) delicious and original breakfast, (4) unique antique environment, etc. Despite a total high estimation of the Hotel, I believe that refrigerator(s) in the room(s) should be replaced to modern model(s). |

Very Italian flavour, much better in the larger rooms in the new building next door to the original. "air conditioning" is not real, only air cooling, and insufficient to cool room on hot day. Had to repeatedly ask for wifi access codes, and complicated wifi procedures. |

Staff were friendly and helpfull. Shower room was tiny and minimum temperature for water was too high, wanted a cool shower after a hot day in the sun. No coffee/tea making facility in room and also iron with ironing board comes as a standard in hotels where I've stayed. |

The hotel that you are selling trough Booking is 3 and not 4 stars, like written. We did not had triple room, but double where they put 1 extra bed. The result was- no space in room at all. We didnt have air condition - clima, during the whole stay. The price is too high for this hotel. It is really very old hotel that needs renovation. Bathroom is in really bed condition. Very old, thus looks dirty. |
