In front of the villa a beautifully shaped Italian garden spreads out, with its exquisite geometry of hedges of antique roses.
In the garden there is a splendid, curvilinear swimming pool, with hydro massage and mosaic floor. The pool is surrounded by thick soft grass, magnificent trees and sun lounges where you can sunbathe or simply laze around in welcoming shade of parasols and cozy armchairs, overlooking the Umbrian countryside with its grand white-balustraded terraces.
The area is incredibly rich in gastronomic traditions, boasting excellent traditional local food, wine, oil, honey and the famous saffron produced locally since the Renaissance times
Very near to the hotel there is the Thermal Centre Fonteverde of San Casciano dei Bagni, where a Day Spa programme is available and where you can enjoy the beneficial qualities of thermal water, known and appreciated since the Roman times.

It is a lovely hotel in a quiet location close to a charming non touristy town. The pool and gardens are very attractive as are the bedrooms and public spaces. The breakfast was very ordinary and not good quality. The restaurant was effectively closed because it was being prepared for a wedding on the coming Saturday (we were there Monday and Tuesday). That was very disappointing. |

Just 300 mt away from the city center makes this place a very relaxable one (in summer, the village has lots of people in the streets at night). Given it's nature, breakfast (the only meal that we've had at the hotel) could be improved, not only in variety but also in the nature of the products available (more natural/local products). |

Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en attent echter het avondeten op de 1e dag was verbrand. De gereserveerde lunch op de 2e dag was er helemaal niet zonder dat dit van tevoren kenbaar was gemaakt. Integendeel. De avond tevoren werd deze lunch sterk aanbevolen en reserveren was noodzakelijk. |
