The Park Hotel "Le Logge del Perugino", in Città della Pieve, occupies a finely restored patrician town house on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. This "Hotel de Charme" is located in a privileged position amidst the same landscapes that have inspired the works of great masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Pietro Perugino.
This antique noble residence has been completely renovated by architects Puleo and Innamorati and was open to the public as a 4-star hotel in 2002.
In front of the villa a beautifully shaped Italian garden spreads out, with its exquisite geometry of hedges of antique roses.
In the garden there is a splendid, curvilinear swimming pool, with hydro massage and mosaic floor. The pool is surrounded by thick soft grass, magnificent trees and sun lounges where you can sunbathe or simply laze around in welcoming shade of parasols and cozy armchairs, overlooking the Umbrian countryside with its grand white-balustraded terraces.
"Le Sibille Restaurant", offers authentic specialities of the local cuisine.
The area is incredibly rich in gastronomic traditions, boasting excellent traditional local food, wine, oil, honey and the famous saffron produced locally since the Renaissance times
The spacious rooms, decorated in country house style, have comfortable beds with floral bedcovers, a small writing desk and have the view of either the garden or the valley. The dark green carpet sound-proofs the rooms. All rooms are equipped with an individual air conditioning system, a mini bar, a satellite TV, a safe and a direct telephone lines.
Città della Pieve is perched on a hill, 500 meters above the sea level, in a panoramic position over Valdichiana and the Trasimeno lake, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, and is rich of cultural and historic treasures.
Very near to the hotel there is the Thermal Centre Fonteverde of San Casciano dei Bagni, where a Day Spa programme is available and where you can enjoy the beneficial qualities of thermal water, known and appreciated since the Roman times.
