Lolli Palace Hotel  

The hotel staffs gave superb service. The room was clean. However, it is an old hotel. Breakfast was ok. The restaurant where we had breakfast at, has the view of the sea. Nice view. Dont know whether it is worthed for EUR100/night including breakfast since it is an old hotel. But maybe that would pay for the service they provide. Excellent service.

The location, across the road from the cycleway and promenade and a short walk to the centre (raucous on Saturday night). Quaint decor.

No dislikes but a few niggles: the WiFi didn't work at the weekend but was fixed on Monday; slow to replenish breakfast items; our car was blocked- in when we checked out and they temporarily lost our spare car key; the car park was a 4-car garage with a narrow approach needing 15-point turns to get in and out. None of these would stop us going again.

Ease of access to beach and town. Everything was within walking distance that we needed for a short break. The only problem in asking for a sea view is that it is often near the road as well and traffic noise is a problem, tho once windows were closed it helped .

The one problem we had was lack of information about the hotel , it's services ,what time the dining room was open at,what were meal times etc. IIt would have been helpful if this type of information was left in an information pack in the rooms . We are all now more environmentally aware and as we were staying for three days we would have liked if we had a choice about our towels etc. Many hotels now give you the choice of not replacing the towels each day to save on washing costs/water usage and to reduce the environmental impact of huge volumes of laundry etc We would have been happy if there was a choice as even the towels we didn't use were replaced .Its only a small point but we all want to do our best and hotels have an important part to play in making their customers aware of the environmental effect of such wastage as well as saving on their own costs.

Location was superb! Our room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful view of the Mediterranean.

The hotel is not accessible for families with strollers or handicapped individuals. Traveling alone with an infant made it difficult. I regret I didn't know about the "full pensione" (option to purchase daily meals) when I made the reservation through Booking.com. I would contact the hotel directly to reserve this option.

Beautiful building facing seafront. The breakfast room was stunning with fantastic sea views. The reception was very helpful and hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is very convinient for going to the beach or discovering town centre, it is neither too far from the train station. If you happen to be in Sanremo on Tuesday or Saturday make sure you walk up the main street (just pass Casino) and go to the central square to see the market.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, nicely designed, have a wonderful view on the sea, the food is good, the location is ideal: it is in the center of the promenade so you just cross the street to get to the beach or cross the side street to get to the sight seeing, shopping or the restaurants area.

The sun terrace was nice also the room was big an comfortable.

Slow internet connection!!! Lack of soap and plastic cups.

Arguably the best location in San Remo, with a huge roof terrace with an amazing view! We had a large room on the fifth floor that even contained a walk-in closet. The staff were very friendly and forthcoming will all requests for information and service we had. We chose this hotel for the rate and location with the intention of staying only for one night. However, we were so positively surprised and enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our visit with two additional nights. The Lolli is definitely where we would want to stay also the next time we visit San Remo!

The breakfast buffet was very basic by Italian standards.

Apri gli occhi al mattimo ed è come fossi sospeso sul mare.......... La posizione della stanza che ci hanno riservato per noi era fantastica. Mare di fronte ed un giardino bellissimo di lato. La stanza abbastanza comoda e poi quell'angolino con tavolo e poltroncine davanti a d una bellissima finestra sul mare ( che bell'angolo) ma oltre a questo, il personale molto cortese, pronto ad aiutarti a consigliarti, cordiale (anche nel saluto notturno) senza essere invadente. Noi Siamo stati proprio bene. Grazie di tutto inoltre è molto comodo, vicino ci sono ristoranti, e tantissimi negozi, il casinò ( per chi interessa) è a due passi,ma anche parcheggi privati e liberi di fronte passa la bellissima pista ciclopedonale e c'è il noleggio bici. E sempre di fronte la splendida passeggiata, e' stata benissimo anche la nostra auto avevamo chiesto attraverso booking un posto auto in garage ed al nostro arrivo c'era pure quello.

Nel complesso cose negative, direi proprio di no. Può disturbare un pò la strada perchè c'è un bel via vai e passa proprio tra l'hotel e il mare ma niente di terribile. A noi non ha dato fastidio x nulla, abbaiamo dormito benissimo.

Ottima posizione, stupenda vista mare. Sala pranzo bellisima e ben esposta. Ottima la colazione, molto varia fra dolce e salato e di qualita'.

Ho riscontrato un odore sgradevole nel soggiorno/bar/reception dell'albergo . Scarsissima illuminazione nel corridoio al piano della mia camera. Il bagno era piccolo e con il rubinetto dell'acqua fredda e tappo del bidet rotti. L'arredamento della camera grazioso.

Io e mia moglie con altri due amici ci siamo trovati bene, camere spaziose e pulite, ottima posizione e personale gentilissimo. Quando ritorneremo a Sanremo senzaltro sarà il nostro albergo.
