My partner and I work on a cruise ship which was doing an overnight in Venice. As it was our anniversary and my birthday combined we decided to get out of our small cabin for the night. We booked the deluxe double room at a large price but with the location it meant we would be able to get back to the ship easy. When we arrived we got taken up to the biggest room they had with a jacuzzi bath next to the huge king size bed. We had a large bathroom with everything you would need and windows everywhere looking out onto the grand canal. We were also given a complimentry bottle of champagne on arrival, Free Wifi and bathrobes. Now it was worth the 365 euros we had originally paid. Breakfast in the morning was continental style. However a choice of cooked breakfast items would have been nice too, but still a nice breakfast. Did'nt get to see much of the rest of the hotel but very traditional and clean, would recommend for sure. Location is great for cruise ship shuttle boat drop off and right next to st Marks Sq for those who like to visi

Location,comfort, breakfast buffet, dinner restaurant. No bath mats to prevent slipping in bath tubs. Safe deposit in room needed a key, and did not have a numeric keypad "antique" glass mirror in bathroom made it difficult to see oneself in

1. The hotel has outstanding staff -- Aldo, Alvise, Stefania, Alessandra, Marco, and everyone else. They are really helpful and kind. 2. The hotel has an excellent location with a beautiful view of San Giorgio Maggiore. 3. The rooms are comfortable. We have stayed several times in recent years. The food in the restaurant used to be outstanding, but, alas, it is no longer so good. That was are only disappointment.

The location is excellent as a base for San Marco and beyond. The front of house and dining room staff are helpful and competent One small object value €35 was removed from our room. This is maybe a problem in Italy generally rather than the Londra in particular. Our complaint was dealt with sympathetically and professionally by Alvise, with the result that we will certainly consider another visit

Very quiet , great location and view---free internet and nice breakfast--- great room Had initial problem when we arrived as I paid extra and upgraded room to have a balcony on the reservation but the hotel tried putting us in a lesser room---fortunately we quickly got the room I paid for

A terrific hotel. Our room was very comfortable and unusually well furnished, like a private room. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The food was delicious. The location was only a short stroll from St Marks' Square. It's pricey but worth it.

Beautiful boutique hotel with old fashioned charm, great service from helpful staff. Complimentary trip to Murano Island. Excellent views of the basin, proximity to St Marco's square and lots of great restaurants. This was my second stay at this hotel.

The room was gorgeous--beautifully and tastefully decorated. The view was superb and even though it was in the front overlooking the grand canal and quay, it was very soundproof, considering the location. Best of all, we had booked a deluxe double room with Lagoon view and when we arrived we were upgraded to that fabulous, spacious junior suite at no extra charge.

I liked it was close to water taxis and buses. The atmosphere when you walk out the hotel door is exciting. We had a room in the back away from the crowds out front and it was divinely quiet and had a beautiful view. I would stay here again.

Excellent helpful staff, large double bed in standard room, good size room, good storage, good toiletries, dressing gown & slippers, quiet although central, very good breakfast, clean, two lifts to all floors, great location There was not much atmosphere in the evening in the bar or restaurant could do with more subtle low lighting and more candles. Would have been nice if the roof terrace had been open to look over Venice although we realise it would have been too cold for breakfast there.
