Score from 365 reviews Wonderful
The location in quite place but far from the down town which good if you want to relax, the staff was help full, the rooms was comfort, the toilets was good but in Italian style.
It's around 30 minutes walk to down town and the Main Street for the brands, and the plaza de espania, which called Spanish steps,no shops or market are near, the breakfast was very limited, only 2 kinds of bread with no toast.
The Hotel Lord Byron is a beautiful Art Deco experience. Our room was beautiful and the staff could not be more attentive without being intrusive. The hotel restaurant provided wonderful genuine Italian food and the breakfasts were brilliant as were the staff. Nothing was any trouble. We spent a great week in what was very much a 5 star home from home. The hotels owner and all the staff made us feel so welcome and as if we were the only guest the had. Highly recommended.
Leaving at the end of the week but we will be back!!
Lovely hotel. Luxurious in a more under-stated way, lots of attention to detail with regard to decor & service. Breakfast was fine! Located very close to the incredible Borghese Gallery and surrounding park, so a very quiet and peaceful location. It's about a 30 min bus journey to the other tourist sites.
Peace and quite Staff very helpful
Not able to open windows very much and they needed a clean Too far to walk into Rome and back twice a day
The staff were exceptional and the rest of the hotel and services were just fantastic.
friendly & professional staff, good service, beautiful interior en rooms, excellent breakfast, after busy day a quite place to be
terrace outside is small
Amazing hotel for those who want to live in a center, but in a very quite place. The hotel is few steps from beautiful park Villa Borgese, has a lot of space for parking, which is very important when you are in Rome by car. The staff is extremly friendly. The interior of hotel - like in a luxury private mention. The breakfast is rich, they give fruits, vegitables, eggs, ham, fish, cheese, various gams, joghurts etc. Really recommend this hotel and thank all the staff for well being in this hotel.
The ambience of the hotel was very good. The staff was excellent and helpful. The food in the restaurant was absolutely divine with the staff paying very good attention to your needs. The hands on proprietor was the icing on the cake!! Very strongly recommend this hotel.
art deco lobby bathroom bed lights
tv not working!!! internet working on and off no coffee/tea making facilities small room with only one chair! balcony with no chairs! a room should have more than just a bed and desk. breakfast room was in a cellar, no proper windows, and only paintings of a single woman.
My husband and I spent a couple of nights of our honeymoon at The Lord Byron in a suite. It was great space, the staff was super helpful, super courteous, and always smiling. The bar is great for relaxing, the breakfast was just what we needed to start our day, and the hotel room felt like a home away from home. It's not a central location, but it's perfect for not feeling crowded or like a total tourist. Definitely recommend!
Great staff, very helpful and attentive. The hotel is a peaceful and very comfortable haven after a day in busy Rome, a pleasant walk 10 minutes from the city.
The wifi drops in and out constantly.
Looking slightly run down
Green area, nice decoration
Friendly, charming hotel staff
Fabulous small luxury hotel for those who enjoy waking up to the sound of birds singing, no traffic and yet ... being almost in the centre of Rome, a 10 minute walk from the Spanish Steps. It was a home away from home with pleasant, smiling, helpful and "no favour to too great" attitude from the staff. We really enjoyed it. The walk across the Borghese Park to the busy touristic Rome was relaxing and the surrounding museums were great! Would gladly return as soon as possible. Thank you.
The internet was intermittant, and although annoying at times, it really didn't matter in the scheme of things! Just loved the place .. and honestly, it was a blessing when it didn't work. Time for another bottle of bubbles!
The location and size of the hotel, the room and the wifi were great. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly, helpful and attentive.
The bar was a little gloomy and the bar drinks and snacks quite expensive.
Super medium size hotel with excellent friendly staff, lovely residential location on north side of Borgehese Park. Wonderful breakfast, attentive service. Our kind of hotel
needed a cab for the center and no cafe's close to get an espresso
The hotel is beautifully presented, decorated& maintained with an air of elegance rarely to be found these days. The staff, without exception, are the most helpful & professional team you are likely to find, always having time to deal with your requests with a smile. I chose the Lord Byron for the following reasons:- 1) Quality of rooms & service 2) In a quiet location, away from the noise of central Rome 3) Having its own restaurant. The Lord Byron met all of these requirements and surpassed all my expectations. A truly wonderful experience in all respects, an absolute credit to the owners & staff.
Having to check out!!
The hotel offers a very comfortable and quiet place to stay away from the busy sights of Rome. The restaurant was very good and we loved being able to borrow bikes.
Nothing we didn't like.
Very nice staff and good restaurant. The rooms are very confortable.
