good location breakfast good
Small room with out dated furniture. Basic breakfast with lowest quality food.
Elegant lobby with elevator, very clean, with adequate breakfast. Bathroom was clean and comfortable. Two short blocks from Rome Termini station and city bus tours, many restaurants nearby.
No in-room wifi, and wifi in lobby was slow and unreliable. Twin beds sagged and were not very comfortable.
Central and clean
no wi-fi internet in rooms, poor quality wifi in lobby. smell of cooking coming from a restaurant downstairs
quiet location, near Central Station Termini, walking distance to city center.
not a 4* hotel at all, it's a joke - small rooms, extremely small shower, wifi only in lobby, horrible breakfast (unfriendly staff, no fruits or vegetables), additional 3€-per-person-and-night city tax, strange area (a lot of strange people around the place all day long, well, it's a Central Station area with all pros and cons).
Location in quiet street, very close to station. Friendly courteous staff. Two lifts (elevators) made it easy to access room. Lobby was spacious and comfortable.
Room was small and cramped. Shower was very small. No roof terrace, though there was space for one.
We just had a stop over in Rome for one night and it's locality to the station was what we were wanting, so hotel Luce suited us perfectly
The entry foyer, breakfast area was nice. The access to Roma Termini was excellent.
It is a function of Italy, but the showers are very small.
Immaculate & elegant room with a very comfortable bed & good lighting.
Room a bit small but all other factors made for a very positive experience.
Proximity to Termini Great breakfast Free wifi (only in lobby) Helpful staff Receptionist spoke English Clean Comfortable bed
Noisy air con
I´ve arrived earlier and my room was ready.
Wifi only in the lobby and just 6:00 to 24:00.
Clean, central location and good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful
Close to Termini and Metro. Walking distance to some attractions. Considering the low cost of the room it's easier to overlook the negatives.
Air conditioning was poor. Shower was very small. Wifi only operated in lobby. Buffet breakfast was of low standard.
Close to train station, lovely breakfast with lots of variety.
Musty smell in the rooms and hallway, wifi not available in the rooms and usually not working in the lobby.
Easy access to Station.
Breakfast area. Lady very unfriendly. Made us feel we shouldn't be there.Food needs to be improved.
The rooms are clean. The bathroom was also clean. The staff who tidy the rooms did not disturb us at early parts of the morning (we used the "do not disturb" sign). The breakfast was delicious and fresh!
The rooms are not very large. There isn't much space at all... But if you spend most of your day touring Rome then you only need a place to sleep when you return. Also, the shower is extremely small! The windows and shutters need to be closed during the night as the noise from the street can get really loud. There is an additional "city tax" of 3 Euros per person per night!!! We were not made aware of this when we checked-in.
all public transport are very close, clean rooms, friendly staff. Wifi is only in the reception. This hotel might have 3*, but 4* is a full exaggeration))))
in my opinion the Termini's area is not very good for living. A lot of strange people are around whole days. They looked peaceful but it would be better not contact with them at all....
- nice service - clean rooms - the most beautiful girl of rome works at the reception desk of Hotel Luce :)
Wifi only at the lobby
Room far too small
Location is excellent. From termini take the exit on right past Nike store and cross the street Via Marsala. After the first block make a right on Via Magenta. Hotel is at the left side. Easy central location to see Rome. Hotel was clean and tourist class. They get a lot of tour visitors. Plenty of affordable eating options nearby including the Chinese restaurant right across. Internet and laundromat right across the street too. Lots of souvenir shopping nearby and easy to book tours. Money exchangers at station. Overall a good place to visit Rome on a budget. Lots of Somalis around the hotel as there is a general store next door owned by them. But harmless. They hang out and chit chat. In a way culturally enlightening. I went to store to buy beer and water. No issues.
The staff were a bit stiff but opened up once they knew you. Wifi only at lobby. Bathroom shower is tiny. Hotel is definitely not four stars but a generous two. Rooms are dated. Breakfast was horrible. But for $100 per day and that we only spent the nights there to sleep, it was acceptable.
Very near trainstation! Price!
Beds a bit small and shower as well! Is more a 3 star hotel!
I really liked the location, transport to/from airport was super easy. It was also close to sightseeings. I really do appreciate thr cleanliness, which is the most important when I travel.
Noise (and it was not because termini station, but immigrants),simplier breakfast,...also would reconsider the stars. According my experience, would classify this hotel as max.! 3-star hotel..
The rooms we always clean
The good at breakfast wasn't very good at all.. And the single beds were so tiny you couldn't sleep!
Location. Walking distance from the station. Plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity.
Very small rooms.
Location close to transport.
Breakfast bread and rolls not fresh fruit very old, tin fruit left over from previous day very uninteresting. Cold showers with very low pressure in the mornings. Airconditioner fair from adequate.
