The location was great just off via veneto and 5 min walk from the spanish steps. The staff was extremely helpful. Room was good sized with a large bathroom. This was our 1st visit to rome and there was always someone at the front desk to help out with maps, city tour and metro etc. You could also do currency exchange at the hotel which was far better than what was offered by nearby western union. The supposedly superior room we got was very basic and not upto 4 star standard. there was construction work on the buidling behind the hotel and it was very noisy in the early mornings. Although breakfast was included in our room rate but it lacked variety. Overall though we selected this hotel for its rate and location and with improved breakfast and upgrading of rooms it will be perfect. |

Ideal location for sightseeing. Good size room with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to many people in a small space. |

I liked the location of the hotel. It's located in a nice (but expensive) area. The room was clean. We stayed 6 days, and the breakfast was the same every day. There is no lounge or room in the hotel where you can have a comfortable conversation of meeting with friends or family. So, you always have to stay in your room. I didn't experienced the hotel as a 4 star hotel, in relation to the price. |

This was a lovely, comfortable hote suitable to both couples & family. It was near the city centre & all the major historical sites. The resturants & shops were all very near as well so it was easy to walk practically anywhere in the city. No, we liked everything. Maybe a little bit bigger reception/bar but that is just an observation. |

This hotel is centraly located. Just a few minutes walk from Spanish Square and the most beautiful shops and restaurants. It is very easy to reach by metro or bus. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and good service. We will go back to this hotel in the future. We did not have any problems during our stay. |

The staff was excellent and they upgraded our room to a suite. We travelled with 2 teenage children and the suite made our stay very enjoyable, especially having 2 bathrooms. A little further from Metro than expected. Also the cab arranged for transfer to airport dropped us off at the wrong terminal. |

The location is good: less than 10 minutes walk to Piazza di Spagna. The hotel staff is general kind, and helpful. Although the room itself is not so specious for family, it is ok with everything equiped neatly. The variety of breakfast is not wide; we got tired of the limited selection of food for 3 nights stay. You'd better remember that the hotel is located on the hilltop, and you need to walk up the slope for some minutes from the nearest Metro station. |

Good location - very close to a Metro station and the Spanish Steps a very short walk, friendly staff, nice rooms clean - sheets & pillow cases changed every day when the room was cleaned. Room had good bathroom, minibar (although we did not use was great for keeping our own wine chilled) TV had some english speaking channels, safe in room. Room rate was on the mark and value for money |

The Ludovisi Palace Hotel is in a very central location (very close to the Villa Borghese and Spanish Steps), but not on a very busy road (so it is relatively quiet during the night). The staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the breakfast food wasn't quite as top-notch as I've experienced in other hotels, but there was a very good variety, and I appreciated that service ran from early until 10.30am - perfect if you're on holiday and don't want to wake up at the crack of dawn. |

The people at the reception were extremely helpful with all of our needs. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly. The selection at breakfast was fine. The room was clean. In our family room reservation there was a reference to an Obstkorb upon arrival - which wasn't there. Not a terrible mistake, but my hungry kids were looking forward to it. |
