Great location close top the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese. Fairly quite for Rome. Nice, if old, facility. Very clean. Friendly staff. Hair dryer provided. Breakfast provided, which is convenient especially if travelling on business. Free internet.
Rooms are quite small by US standards but fairly big for Rome. Bed was quite hard. No iron provided
Wi-fi is FREE of charge. the info at booking com is wrong. And if you park your car at the ludovisi parking lot you pay 18 euro per day.
it`s Rome…you pay more for less.. bad wlan, no good facilities for breakfast etc...
staff and location, definitely.
The bathroom was not clean. a lot of hair and small bugs.
When we arrived at the hotel at 1 am one bed was missing from the room we had booked far in advance. When we confronted the night porter he actually suggested that we slept three grownups in one double bed. When we turned this suggestion down, he provided for an extra bed (after an unfair amount of arguing). A bed we by our self had to bring to the 6th floor and make up. When we asked the hotel manager for some kind of compensation, he only offered a drink in the hotel bar.
The view was amazing. The restaurant was top notch with a great wine selection. We enjoyed our breakfast out on the terrace each morning. The staff was absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that the pillows were a bit hard. I would definitely return.
Not much. Front desk rude passages dark and kinky breakfast good.
They were able to accommodate 7 of us in two rooms at a reasonable cost. It was in a good location in walking distance of Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain. It was a clean and comfortable hotel.
Hotel staff booked us lunch with a local restaurant despite us asking not to be booked - we wanted to look at it first. Someone from the restaurant immediately appeared outside the hotel to "escort" us there and we felt forced to eat there.
The helpful friendliness of the staff. The location was most attractive and made it easy to get to many tourist attractions and good dining within walking distance. It was also a help having the Hop On Hop Off bus stop so close by. The facilities of the hotel were very good with the exception of our cramped bedroom, which had fine furniture but which was too large for the size of the room.
The very cramped bedroom with no space for luggage.
Great location walking distance to most sights. Hotel sent us a bottle of bubbly for my birthday which was vey unexpected.
Breakfast could have more choice, but we were happy with what was there.
Excellent location staff so very knowledgeable and helpful, very clean, wonderful breakfast, would highly recommend the place, fantastic
the rooms are small but spotlessly clean the staff are very friendly and the location is excellent I would recommend and stay again
i didn't like the gypsies at the train station but that's Rome
Staff was really good. The location is perfect. The room was clean and the breakfast was not bad ;)
Shower "glass" door leaks
Actually, the regular staff at the reception, the bell boys, and breakfast staff were all very nice. But the manager was a different breed altogether! He was terribly rude!
On my last day, the man at the reception INSISTED that I had booked the night before a taxi to the airport at 8 am. But what I said 2days before and the night before was that I would check out at 8 on July 22 and then will book a taxi after I check out. What he did was already booked a "private car" - not a taxi and insisted that I had instructed the night reception, in front of him, to get me a taxi at 8am. Two points here: I did NOT book for 8am. If he says I booked for a taxi, then WHY did he get a private car who was charging me 90% (almost double) MORE than what a taxi would have charged me, AND insisted (shouted) that I had asked for this transportation to the airport!! He actually was raising his voice at me, a 5-day guest of the hotel, that I had asked for this car!! This totally ruined my Rome visit!
Location, helpful Staff, excellent sound-proofing
Staftf friendly facilities clean very convenient
Beds were not that comfortable. Consider duvets.
Good location. Great helpful staff. Very comfortable accomodations.
Great location and ease of travel to points of interest and train station. Ok, breakfast, staff for breakfast were great.
One of the front desk personnel was rude, disclined to be helpful as well as 'forgetting' what he had promised us. Beds hard and uncomfortable. Very tiny room for breakfast and difficult to access the food.
Nice location, breakfast was ok and room was quite clean. Staff is overall very friendly and helpful.
We had quite a small room, the hotel is a bit too expensive for what it offers. The first night we asked at the reception to recommend us a good restaurant but not the usual turist trap type of restaurant as we live in Italy and know how they make business with foreigners. Obviously they sent us to a turist trap type of restaurant. If they recommend you Il Tempio di Bacco which is just around the corner do not go.
location!!, staff, room looking towards the street
the shower curtains in the bathroom, as they were not perfectly clean and was unpleaseant...it would be great if they switch them to glass or something
Staff were attentative and the location was relatively good.
The view from the room was poor.
