About 15 minutes by car from the city Very quiet Nice restaurant near the place
there are 3 workers, only two of them speak English. The owner of the place only speaks Italian More distant than I expected from the city The WiFi only connects one device a time, a little annoying.
Basic and dated furniture. No bedside cabinets. No air conditioner. Basic, stale breakfast with limited options. Loud disturbing TV on whilst eating breakfast. Aged towels and bedding.
Very clean Nice showers Nice breakfast very quiet
Owners doesn't speak Enlish or German but the sons does. Very small rooms
staff very kind, helpful, parking possibilities, hotel is next to sublime restaurant
breakfast mainly sweets, wifi only in the garden,
Family owned. Very very friendly and kind. Took us to the station. Gave us great advice about where to go. Breakfast was wonderful. A tad bit out of the city but quiet and beautiful and they got us where we needed to go.
The owner, John Paolo, was very helpful. He and his brother spoke excellent english and as soon as we arrived, he invited us in, brought us some coffee asked a few questions and then made helpful suggestions about what to do during our time there. He was right on target with everything he told us. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Bathrooms updated and modern. Breakfast in the morning was sufficient. If there is anything that you need, John Paolo will deliver it to you. There is a restaurant about a block from the hotel with good food and quite inexpensive in case you don't want to drive into town one night for dinner.
The location was about 6 km outside of La Spezia and a bit difficult to find. Once we got there, though, the owner John Paolo gave us very good directions for getting back and forth. No problem after that.
Loved everything about this place. Danny and his brother were wonderful hosts. The condition and cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Danny helped book us a table at the restaurant on the corner which is a must visit if you stay here. Fantastic local food and cheap/quality wine. The breakfast at Luna Rossa was excellent and beyond what we expected. They make you feel like one of the family. Highly recommend! Only a short drive back to La Spezia and worth the effort.
The reception was excellent and the two brothers were very friendly, helpful and nice to the kids. Very good advice on 5 terre and La Spezia. Great stay.
There was some noice from the other rooms (chairs, water,...).
The family that runs this bed and breakfast truly cares about their guests and were extremely helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off at the trainstation and were very helpful about recommendations. Very friendly and great service
The owners are extremely friendly and helpfull to tell you where to eat and what to do. Located in a peacefull place, please do not lose the restaurant that is just in the corner where you can eat a nice local variation of piza
Giampaolo was so helpful in explaining Cinque Terre and how to arrive there by train. He had us follow him while he drove in the city to show us where the train station was located and other locations we desired to go to. He has the gift of hospitality and making you feel safe and at home, like we were one big family!
Really friendly and helpful owner, Danny & Giampaolo, and the family, they pick us up from train station of la spezia and willing to drive you there anytime if you want, so the location we worried before is not a problem. Our room is very comfortable with balcony, from window, I can see the beautiful village surrounded by mountain and trees. Nice walk to take around the hotel, with fresh air. Quiet, far away from city noises. Good choice for a really vacation.
