We had a bunch of kids in the hotel during our stay. Without the teacher. We had to fight with the receptionist at 1am. to cool the kids down since we were not able to sleep. We can't do anything against the noise - they said. Is it really a 4 star hotel? I don't think so...

No wifi unless you were in the breakfast room in the morning. Staff could just about speak English. Room was ever so tiny with no English TV channels or refreshments in the room either.
Location was ideal

A very poor hotel for the money paid. No wifi, and a tiny, noisy room.

Have you ever seen a 4star Hotel where even the wash room locks are broken? very basic toiletries. Do NOT land in thinking of a 4*. Its just an ordinary place to sleep. Not worth $150+ at all.
Location is good as not far from Termini. Staff at reception was welcoming

No Wifi. I knew it already from the time I make the booking so not really a problem.
The staff is exceptionally helpfull. They help us by Vatican ticket, informed us how to reach the hospital when our son was sick. The breakfast is ok. The room is cozy. It was really pleasant stay in Hotel Lux. Oh and there is a very good restaurant nearby and also supermarket is jut around the corner.

Streets around hotel are a bit seedy, and there was noise from revellers from the street. Beds were small and hard.
Friendly reception staff. Clean and presentable. Nicely decorated.

Night receptionist did not speak English. Breakfast was okay, but not great. Hotel does not meet expectations of a 4-star hotel (state of furniture, room equipment), but is a solid value-for-money for travelers in the 2-to-3-star price league.
Excellent location, just 3 blocks from Termini central train station. Very calm area. Nice restaurant just down the street.
