Luzzatti

The Luzzatti is a simple, no frills budget hotel. In the single rooms there is a not a lot of space to sit or lounge around but that is not needed anyway as the hotel is quite close to the subway/ tube/ metro i.e. the Manzoni station. The subway gets you to a lot of touristic places so the location does help. The area around the hotel though is typical of a downtown area and so does present somewhat of a run down look

On the last day of my four day trip, the weather in Rome had turned a little cold and the management switched off the central air-conditioning. That also switched off the fan feature. My room turned very still as literally no air flowed inside. I could not open the windows as the traffic noise was very loud. After a discussion of about a half hour with the front desk who also came up to the room to look for themselves, they refused to help indicating that this is how the system operates. I think they should have had a more helpful attitude. they also ask for a copy of one's passport on check-in which may be standard for Rome but was somewhat of a surprise to me

The reception. Staff is very helpful, the explanation of the city of Rome map was very helpful to us. We had all of our questions answered.

The price, but compared to others in Rome it was acceptable.

Расположение отеля довольно удачное, не далеко от центра, близко к метро, до Колизея пешком минут 15-20, до вокзала Термини - так же. Уборка номера - каждый день, белье менялось постоянно. Персонал вежливый и готовый помочь. Изъясняться по-английски может :-) Одноместный номер просто миниатюрный, но, в принципе, для того, чтобы переночевать, больше и не нужно. Есть открытая веранда с растениями в кадках. Довольно мило смотрится.

Коврики на пол! Кафельный пол просто ледяной! И нет возможности выпить чашку кофе в отеле - только во время завтрака.

Hotelmitarbeiter waren freundlich, das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse völlig in Ordnung, täglich wurde das Zimmer gereinigt, sehr sauber, besonders gut fand ich den kleinen Safe (mit Nummerncode) im Zimmer

Mooie kamer. leuke ligging in een levendig straatje, vlakbij het plein voor de kerk met leuke terrasjes. daar kan je ook op een bankje je ontbijt eten, dat je afhaalt bij de bakker op de hoek. Nabij leuk strandje, waar je vlakbij ook lekkere sandwiches kunt laten maken. Parasol geleend van eigenaren van deze B&B.

Op dit adres woont een gezin met een baby. Onze (prachtige) slaaapkamer kwam uit op de woonkamer, daardoor minder gevoel van privacy.Onze badkamer lag aan de andere kant van de woonkamer. We moesten wennen aan geluid van de baby. behalve onze slaapkamer is er ook een kamer op lagere etage. .

Das Hotel wurde unseren Erwartungen voll gerecht und bestätigte die bisherigen Bewertungen in bester Weise. Chef und Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Rezeption war 24 Stunden besetzt, was ein gewisses Gefühl der Sicherheit gab. Und wenn die Verständigung auf Deutsch mal nicht klappte, kam man mit Englisch immer weiter. Das Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer hatten eine ausreichende Größe und es gab einen kleinen Safe sowie eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Kurzum, alles was man für die Übernachtung auf einer Städtereise braucht. Rom ist übrigens keine Oase der Ruhe, was dem erholsamen Schlaf auf den guten Matratzen aber nicht im Wege stand. Preis/Leistung und Lage (15 Min.zum Kolosseum, 5 Min.zur U-Bahn) einfach prima!
