Location of the hotel, near old Rome and near a Metro station. Well isolated for outside noises (quiet). Service of reception. Elevator a little small. |

Nice, polite service especially at breakfast. Good start for the day with a cup of capuccino at the roof terrace with panorama. Very good location to be a head quarter for sight seeing. Excellent surrounding atmosphere, closeness to "Spagna and Trevi". |

Room, location, brfeakfast, staff all great - bottom line the hotel couldn't have made by trip more enjoyable. I inquired about taxis to airport, the reception guy said taxi 40E and limo 50E. I said get me taxi. To my surprise when we got to the airport, we got the 50E trip. My fault, I didn't ask the driver before we left as to the cost. |

The breakfast was excellent. While we were a bit surprised by the fact that the "adjoining room" suite for 4 people was in fact a living area with door that could be separated from the very large bedroom and moderately sized bathroom, the set-up met our needs of sleeping 4 adults. The master bedroom was extremely large and accommodated our many suitcases and the crib (provided kindly by the hotel). The "adjoining rooms" is a bit of a misnomer as it implies 2 separate hotel suites. For the price that we paid for the hotel room, we expected 2 separate living quarters to have the option of being completely separated from the other 2 adults who were traveling with us. Having to walk through the living area/2nd bedroom to get in and out of the hotel room did disturb the folks sleeping in that room. |

the staff at the hotel were willing to try to make our stay as pleasant as possible and did what they could to resolve problems as soon as possible the exterior of the hotel when arriving made us wonder if we had made a mistake booking the Hotel Madrid however the interior was pleasant but could be made a bit more modern in terms of the lobby area |

The location;situated just around the corner from Spanish Steps, but very quiet. Good breakfast. Excellent English bookstore right next door. Some sloppiness; the safe unfixed, extra toilet rolls not provided, folks and spoons missing at the breakfast buffet table. Blunt and unsmiling staff. |

Great location near Spanish Steps but not too close. Upon arrival they informed us that they upgraded our room to a bigger one because the crib for our 15-month old was too big for the room we had originally booked. Nice breakfast on rooftop (but covered) breakfast area. Wonderful staff all around. The bath was slow to drain, but not a huge problem. We stayed only two nights and forgot to mention it when we discovered it, so didn't get to measure response. |

We loved the staff, they were very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We had never been to Rome, so we had a lot of questions. The rooftop breakfast was very delicious and lovely. The room was nice and you could adjust the the air conditioning to whatever you wanted which was nice because it was extremely humid there. |
