Stayed here for 5 nights and it was a fantastic choice. Stayed in a family room, which was a great size for a family of five. Breakfast was a highlight. The staff were extremely helpful and location is perfect, highly recommended
Staff and Location are great. Friendly and smiling all the personell, always taking extra-care of you. Location is simply superb, 4 minuts walking from Piazza di Spagna. The breakfast in the roof terrace bar is a great way to start your day!
The hotel is located in the pedestrian area. If you have heavy luggages, I suggest to leave the car outside and take a taxi to reach the hotel.
Location, breakfest terase and staff on terade and reception
Right down the street from the Spanish Steps - central to all the Rome attractions. Great, comfortable rooms and bathrooms - very clean. Nice breakfast on the roof.
Always trouble with the wifi there. They finally had wifi in the rooms, but only a few of us managed to connect to it, and they charge for use. Air conditioning units smell a little funky when on (at least in our room!)
Size of room It was a quiet room
Breakfast Internet access and reliability Small lift
Nice view from breakfast restaurant, Nice room, Kind staffs, Very nice location. Actually we did not expect a lot to this hotel, but our idea to stay experience of this hotel has been really good. We would like to stay once again here.
nothing at all
breakfast on the terrace location Friendly staff flexibility with check-out time
Noisy air conditioning units
My family and I stayed at the Hotel Madrid for an overnight visit to Rome. It was a great location and fit our needs perfectly. It's not fancy or extravagant, but the location is ideal for touring, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the value for money was good. The A/C was a great comfort avert a hot day.
The breakfast on the roof. Bed was comfy
Wifi did not reach the room, only worked in the hall
convenient location, nice breakfast restaurant, nice people!
we loved the hotel madrid! our suite was very comfortable for the five of us! Breakfast up on the roof was delicious and had a wide variety of selection, one of our best in italy. The woman who made our coffees was so sweet and friendly. The staff was amazing! Helpful while we were there and even before we arrived!
wifi was not included
Location was great. Lots of food and shopping nearby. Metro station nearby.
Helpful staff and location.
Inconvenience of fire alarm in the middle of the night. They gave us a key of the room some was already in.
Great location, breakfast was fantastic and view from cafe was a great way to start the day!
Good location. Large rooms. Service minded staff. Good breakfast.
- The beds are too hard. - Airconditioner old and noisy. - The Internet/WiFi was an extra (5Euro) and was very unstable. One day it did not work and they did not fix it after our complain. It worked in the lobby. They where watching youtube there. I Think they only have wifi repeaters in hotell rooms instead of a proper installation.
Internet charge was per device, other hotels provide free internet.
The location was excellent for our trip to the "old town" of Roma. The breakfast area on the roof. Close to shopping area. A lot of restaurants and bars close by.
Wi-Fi not included. Unstable internet connection. Very limited TV programs (Italian only) + CNN.
Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was good. Lovely setting, friendly staff and English style bacon! (Which is a rarity in Italy)
€320 for one night was a little steep. It slept 5 people I suppose, one double and three singles.
Helpful staff, good breakfast, pleasant room with well appointed bathroom. Fantastic location - walking distance to main historical sights. Near many restaurants.
Air conditioning quite loud. On Saturday night, noise from local club till early hours.
Location is outstanding - a short walk to the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain. Breakfast was excellent and the young lady who prepared coffee was sweet, friendly and charming. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The nightclub next door can create problems for street-facing rooms. If you open the window at night for a little air circulation, the noise and smoke are most annoying.
Everything in this hotel , the staff was very helper and assistant especially Mr Antonyo. they guide us to explore the city.
The location was outstanding and the room was spacious for a family of five, and comfortable. The breakfast was good, very friendly staff.
Come to this wonderful hotel is not the first time. Very convenient location, very close to the main attractions of Rome. Caring, friendly and attentive staff. Excellent and varied breakfast. Living rooms has excellent insulation. For all I highly recommend this quiet, tranquil and comfortable accommodation!
Great location and helpful and friendly staff- will definitely stay here again
