Nice hotel. I guess you could call it 5 stars, but it is on the lower end. Price wasgood for the area. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, including eggs, bacon, meat and cheese platters, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc. Staff was helpful in coordinating tours and even providing a bag breakfast when we had to leave early one morning. Great location about a block or 2 from Barberini metro stop. Nothing, really. Rooms were small, but that is expected.

Especially, a very nice gentleman that worked in the evenings at the front desk, he would wear his hairl slicked back in typical Italian style, he arranged three dinner reservations for us that were superb. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, could be a bit more interesting and different. Also, I booked the hotel for the Restaurant and outdoor seating up top only to find it was not open due to construction. Also the construction that was taking place directly under our room was especially disturbing and very loud the first day when we arrived and wanted to sleep due to severe jet lag.

The staff went out of their way to help us when one of our suitcases was lost in route to the hotel. The staff referred to us by name and were very attentive to our needs. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to others. The free high speed internet was wonderful after coming from a cruise where it was unreliable and slow. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful as we spoke "no" Italian at all.The staff made me want to return to Rome and stay for a longer period on my next visit.

The staff was helpful & courteous. Spacious room with appealing decor. Location was perfect--mere steps from the Spanish Steps and a Metro stop, lots of cafes and restaurants very close by. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was good but could have used something new each day. The staff at the bar was very friendly. Small gym but adequate. Check-out could have gone faster. Was very disappointed that the restaurant in the hotel wasn't open. Renovation on the 1st floor was a bit unsightly.

The hotel is traditional, cozy, the staff is extremely nice and helpful, much more than usual. They gave us an upgrade to a very pretty room. This is the second time I go to the hotel and my stay was beyond my expectations. Without doubts I would and do recommend it.A Girl named Corina and a gentleman called Claudio were specially helpful and nice to my wife and myself. -Having said that I liked the hotel very much, I was quite annoyed by the fact that wi-fi did not work in the room and also by the fact that the cost of having breakfast (E.40 per person/day) made you avoid it. The staff apologized and so did the Manager, but to the important difficulties I had with the lack of connection with my office, one single flower for my wife would have been nicer.

“The location right off of the Piazza Navonna was great. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent ( we had our best meal in Italy there).and the views of the city at sunset and night were beautiful. The hotel was very comfortable, good air conditioning, comfortable beds with adjustable positions, We received an upgrade to the executive floor. The room was fairly large for Italy with great bathrooms with wonderful waterfall showers and high quality amenities. The room had a minibar, flat screen tv and good lighting and fairly large closet and dresser. We had a welcome basket and large bottles of water each day along with chocolates, robes and slippers and turn down service each evening. The hotel was small, quiet, with beautiful art work and we felt secure with electronic locks and a room safe. The staff were personable and attentive. The breakfast buffet was diverse and the coffee good. Would definitely return when in Rome.” Barbara, Mt Horeb Wi |
