We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 3 kids - 14, 12 & 4. We all loved the hotel, as it is close to all the main sights. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, really nice. We had our car parked in their secure location, so did not have to worry about that (although they do charge EUR 70 per day..). The rooms were big and beautiful, Wi Fi is free (!) and the bathrooms are great.

The food in the hotel could improve - we did not have breakfast, as they charge EUR 30 per person and you can have a lovely eggs &toast breakfast at any of the cafes right outside of the hotel) but we had dinner at the Chef restaurant in the hotel, which was dissapointing. We also ordered room service twice and the food could be better.

It was my first time at this hotel, I have travelled half the world but this hotel makes a difference to Rome, the moment , I arrived at the reception, the gentleman at the reception, Claudio is very human and a real nice man perfect for his career. All service staffs at this hotel was truly born for their career. The next morning, I went to breakfast and there was Signor Otavian who was very good at his career, he reads the customer needs like a book. As I am a tea-collector, I just asked a very simple Question, Is this the kind of tea, yr hotel, wants to serve ???. He quickly, suggest to me , a collector's tea, which made my breakfast a great morning ( real tea are made from leaves , wherelse tea- bags tea are made from dust of tea leaves but I was provided with the best of tea bags ,any 5 stars hotel could serve ). Although, Mr Otavian is from Poland, I am sure , he would make any polish very proud from his quality of work in Rome Italy. I hope to see him promoted the next time, I am at this hotel.

The breakfast doesn't correspond to cost of 30 euros. Even an omelette for separate money.

Street noise in the room on the first floor, if you aren't a deep sleeper it can be anouing. If you pay 30 Euro for breakfast per person it should includ omlet without extra charge.

I spent an unforgettable weekend in Rome and most important part of this was the Majestic Hotel.

The Hotel changed its buffet during our stay. It eliminated hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage,etc) from the buffet table. They moved coffee service from being staff-served to self-service. Staff told us we could order scrambled eggs without additional charge but other styles would incur additional charge. The price of the buffet was not reduced as a result of the change.

Luxury brilliance, was a complete pleasure from beginning to end.

This hotel is ideally located on the fashionable Via Veneto, close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The building itself is truly delightful with a marvellous elevator, reminiscent of a bygone era. Staff are friendly, but not intrusive, which is ideal.

Our bathroom wasn't terribly big, the plumbing needs some re-investment and there is a fair volume of traffic noise due to the large windows. We only dined one evening and we did not enjoy the over fussy food or environment. Bar is very formal.

Hotel is in a fantastic location.our room was spotless & comfortable & well stocked of towels etc,the buffet breakfeast was plentiful & had a huge range to choose from & also the staff must get a huge mention as they were fantastic & made our stay with the majestic all the better.will no doubt be staying here on our next trip to rome,no question.

I think that whilst it is not the best hotel, it is the best located hotel on that street. It is closest to the historic centre and yet still very close to the high end shops on that street. The staff and service was excellent. It was nice to be called by my name when I went to the restaurant. The lounge area is lovely but has no natural light. In warmer weather I think the terrace would be great. Shower was excellent but older guests may be less comfortable to have to step into the bath to get to the shower.

The hotel is old. If you like that, cool. Whilst it has loads of character and it did grow on me, and nothing was actually "broken" or "dirty", I generally prefer newer things or, ideally, a combination of some new things and some historic things. The fitness centre can hardly be described as "state of the art" - there are only 5 machines there. The heating system in the room switches off at certain times.This was not as flexible as I would expect in a 5 star hotel. The printer in the business area is super slow. Its maybe a silly thing but at 5 star level I think the details are important - we only received 1 complimentary bottle of water for the whole stay = 5 days. Why not a new bottle each day? Would it have been different if I were to book 5 separate consequtive nights? The tv has certain set stations (not a bad variety but other hotels provide a wider selection of films etc). Our room was small - we were there 5 days and the hotel was not busy -not sure why they could not have given us a larger room. The breakfast room is very characterful (like the whole hotel) but a bit cramped. See above about the shower.

Excellent hotel, great location. Definitely the luxury you would want in a place like Roma. Highly Recommended.
