Dating back to the late 1800s, UNA Napoli is a grand hotel in central Naples, a 5 minute walk from Naples Central Train Station. It features a top-floor restaurant, bar and terrace.
Score from 947 reviews Very good
Located less than half a mile from Naples’s Piazza del Plebiscito, the Palazzo Alabardieri is a 2-minute walk from the shops of the chic Via Chiaia.

The Royal Continental is right on Naples' seafront promenade, in a quiet neighborhood. It features a stunning rooftop pool, with panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo.

Well located for shopping (clothes). Staff very helpful. Metro nearby.
Breakfast quite basic. Noisy street at WEs.
secured parking, clean, easy.
Only thing wrong was room was extremely hot despite fact that it was about 5 degrees C outside. AC didn't work, or we didn't do it right. Slept with windows wide open all night, and were still hot...
Great hotel and very good location
every thing! Can't ask more for the money.
The deco decor is lovely and we will be going back
Elegant, large room, friendly staff.
The bed was really uncomfortable. Bring ear plugs, windows are not cancelling the noise outside, we woke up several times a night due to the traffic and the bar on the corner.
the service - excellent in all respects at all times of day (we found this generally in Naples: the Neapolitans are wonderful hosts) the room: clean airy spacious comfortable quiet etc the breakfast: as above, excellent service, very good buffet
There was nothing we did not like about our stay at Majestic: this hotel is run by true professionals who in our experience rank as outstanding hosts.
Location- safe and accessible. Cleaners do excellent job. Room good size and two chairs for comfort.
Too hot and it's winter- can't imagine how it would be in summer. Air conditioner wouldn't go low enough.Bed rock hard.
The views, clean comfortable and the staff on duty were a pleasure
Hotel billed me twice for my stay once when I originally booked and second when I checked out. Trying to sort it out through booking.com. Have tried on two or three occasions to ring the hotel no one ever picks up the phone.
Check the amount in the reservation & in the actuall bill during check-out
Large rooms with equally large bathroom. Excellent location.
You have to pay 12 euro for breakfast and when the hotel is full, you can certainly hear the other guests using the bathroom.
Good location, close to one of the fanciest areas of Naples. Nice suite for a very decent price.
Room heater/aircon was not working properly, thus nights were very chilly! Breakfast is just OK (as very often in Italy though)
Location, location, location Excellent customer service - wonderful greeting upon arrival Very happy too provide us with a map and point us in the right direction Loved the bells
besides the good location, good rooms (we were 2 couples so they gave us the rooms with a common, private entrance/ reception lounge), good amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel, the reception staff were very helpful, especially Roberta who went to every length possible to help us. She made phone calls for us, translating from Italian to ensure we got the best service and ensured our (non-hotel related) problems were solved to our full satisfaction. We so enjoyed our 1 night at this hotel that we booked our last night in Naples again in the same room
- nice rooms and bath - silence - good view over Naples (9th floor) - good intercontinental breakfast - friendly and supportive staff - ideal location to discover Naples - close to Metro and Funicolare
- Hotel Bar was closed :-(
Everything very old style and brekfast 12 Euros.
perfect hotel, good location
I really liked the hotel's location. After sightseeing I went back to the hotel to change and in 2 Minutes I was in the area with all the bars and nice shops and boutiques. The hotel was very clean and the staff super friendly.
I didn't like the lighting system in my room. I was a bit confusing and sometimes I had to switch on or off all the lights from the main switch.
attendance at breakfast very good
Fantastic location which offered parking for our hire car. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sleeping layout of 2 double beds and a sofa bed between 2 rooms for a family of 5.
This hotel is not on the water but near enough. From there, it's short walk to the historic center and the shopping streets as well as the bay. The rooms are large and well-appointed. If you're on the 7th or higher floor on the front, you will have a view over the rooftops toward Capri.
The breakfast was forgettable. There was a large selection, but nothing was great. For instance, the pastries were fairly taste-free.
space of the rooms
My single room out the back was on the 10th floor framing a view of the mountains. The room itself was luxury suite class with a beautiful desk with inlaid glass drawer, armchair, standard lamp, etc, as well as a large bathroom, insuite safe, and so on. Two elevators, and no huge waits to use them. There's a bit of a lounge to sit down in too. It's comfortable. The location is about 5min walk from Amadeu metro. It's about a 20min walk to the Chaia conference center on the sea front where I was heading. The street is a bit boring - every other street but that one is more fun around there. There's a chips and beer place on a street close-by that looked good for late-night munchies.
They caught me for an utterly exorbitant E24 for breakfast on top of my E59 room. I didn't realize it wasn't included. And I didn't even have coffee! Not funny. I think I remember ticking a "breakfast" box when booking, but who knows now and when I checked the email confirmation it said "no meal plan", which translates as "no breakfast", I assume. So they are probably legally OK but that was still a giant rip-off. Nobody said anything about breakfast when I checked in - which should have been a clue, but the desk clerk was clearly fresh on the job that day so I put it down to that. The room and interiors were stifflingly hot - I heard italians complaining too. Really incredibly hot. November was having muggy 23C weather and any exertion at all had me rolling in sweat so the heating didn't help.
The staff were lovely especially Frank who had come over to Napoli from the Rome branch. Rooms were super clean with all mod cons including lounge area outside and external blinds. Views over the bay to Capri are beautiful to wake up to and watch the sun set over. The hotel is located right in the shopping and eating district so lots of things to do without needing a taxi. The port is fairly close and Ischia is well worth a day trip. Also, Pompeii is only half an hour away but you need at least 4 hours to properly appreciate the scale and architectural prowess of that place.
