Location, friendly staff.
No air conditioning, small rooms
Quiet and cool room
Hot water in the shower not flowing a lot.
Location and breakfast
Mosquito at night
Furniture old and broken, parking very expensive, 30 euro for a day, not 25 how I was informed.
The Wi-Fi was great! The room was big and the bed was good. The room has a bath and the breakfast was good for Italian standard. Airco worked great.
The smaller guy with glasses from the reception wasn't friendly and helpfull.
Good location, staff accommodating to needs if required.
The location was perfect, close to the city but quiet because of the park. The staff was really friendly and professional. The breakfast was quite nice too.
The pillows where quite hard. Last few days we only had wifi connection if we stood by the door.
The location and value of the hotel was excellent as we felt that we could walk everywhere in the city easily from the hotel. It was in a quiet location where we could sit in the park at the same time enjoying a city atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we had left our keys in the room, there was no problem to retrieve them. Breakfasts were very good with helpful, friendly staff. Rooms were changed and cleaned every day. The wifi was excellent.
The room seemed dusty when we arrived although it felt clean and the linen and towels were spotless. The walls had been painted to be refreshed but not completely so resulted in a patchy appearance. the shower head holder was not attached to the wall and would have been a safety issue with younger children.
Excellent Breakfast, Good Location, Nice Staff
Helpful reception staff, especially the young man who changed our room for the better, when we had a slight problem with ours. Situated on a no through road on one side opposite a tree lined square.
Parking Location (about 10 minutes walk from Santa Maria del Fiore and Santa Maria Novella)
Small room with too small bed for 2 Breakfast needs to be improved: no fresh fruit, croissants from the market and not fresh from the bakery, not a very good choice if you're not used to have italian breakfast.
The room was big and spacious, there was also a good selection from breakfast, staff was very kind and helpful!
Great location and excellent breakfast.
I have booked a single room which is a bit small.
The location was a mixture as this was close to market area and within walking distance of most attractions
close to youth hostels which made it noisy at night and the hotel was under renovation which was very inconvenient. No catering other than basic breakfast. Airconditioning was not very effective and room was hot
The location of the hotel was very good for me, about a 10 minute walk from the main train station and a short walk to restaurants and shops. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable, everything was in good working order. Most staff members were friendly and nice.
The wifi was not very fast, but it worked, and I got the impression that this is quite common in Florence. Also sometimes in the morning I could hear staff talking in the corridor outside my room.
The wifi is above standard for an Italian hotel, the staff are quite good considering our party were quite demanding (arriving back late at night after drinks, checking out late). This hotel is only a ten min walk away from the Duomo, a great central location.
No one ever told me where the breakfast room was.
We were on the ground floor which was very noisy. The room was large but the staff weren't very friendly.
Location was good, 10min walk from main train station.
Staff were not friendly, felt like you were inconveniencing them each time you asked them something. Shower in the room was broken, and after speaking with 2 staff members finally got it fixed, looked like it had been broken for months. Advertised as 'Airconditioned' but staff advised that they could not turn the aircon on until June. Room was very stuffy, and quite loud with the windows opened. Staff just shrugged their shoulders and didn't care. Found front desk to be unattended on a number of occasions, this was not good as you were requested to leave your room key there when going out for the day, anyone could just come in and grab another persons key. Not a hotel I would recommend to stay in.
The staff was very helpful and kind. Room was cleaned and made well-groomed every day.
The flush in the toilet did not work in the beginning. The mosquitoes were unbearable during the night (but this is common for Florence, I suppose). Many (mosquito) stains on the ceiling and walls.
Rooms were good size and clean Breakfast was a real treat extensive array of options and really well prepared food Front desk was very helpful
No internet in rooms Was without water to shower or wash with for a while day Bathroom was small
Location was fairly central and a nice area. Breakfasts had good choice. Friendly and clean.
No hot water for all of our five night stay. This is a basic thing that the hotel should get right. Also we has problems connecting to the wi fi.
The only thing good about this hotel is its localization.
Almost everything. Internet was awful, breakfast too simple, unconfortable room, tiny toilette, horrible and not prepared staff (with exception of the newer guy from reception), no water during 1 night then without hot water for 1 morning. This hotel should never be quoted as 3 stars.
Generally, it is a nice hotel in a good location.
They are harassing their guests to leave the room key at the reception desk every time you go out. WiFi only in the lobby.
nice breakfast and nice people there!
a little bit far from the train station if you take a heavy luggage with you
