The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and well-equiped.
More than fine room considering the price
Did not accept payment by card
This hotel is excellent value for money. The room was cheap, but it was clean and had all amenities I require. It's also close to Loreto subway station, wich connects with all important sites in town. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Also no problem to leave my bag for the remainder of the day after checkout.
The WIFI: you had to pay for it (although not much) and the quality was bad. The place was also quite noisy (you could hear the water running very loudly in the neighbouring rooms and people on the hallway could be heard very clearly).
I liked location of the hotel near the metro station Loreto (M1, red line) (for exit from the metro station take durection pl.Loreto, Buenos Aeros). The room has all necessary facilities: small bathroom, balcony, electric fan, towels, soap and shampoo. There is a wifi connection in the room free or charge. Near the hotel you can find a "Banificio Pasticceria" where it's possible to buy a slice of pizza and biscuits. In the hotel and around it was calm. From the balcony I had a lovely view on the inner garden.
There is not a small bar. There is not elevator (but it's not possible to install it).
Offered All the essentials and was very close to the metro. Cheap.
Old fashioned furnishings. No elevator. You have to leave your key at reception when ever you go out.
Stuff was really nice, location perfect (esp. considering the price of hotel), room was being cleaned properly®ularly, quiet place...
very good location,nice staff,really clean,comfy bed
Rooms not well isolated.we could hear people climbing the stairs during the night and early in the morning there were a lot of noises comming from the upper floor.
Hotel's 5 mins from metro Loreto. I liked my old style room with a big wash basin and mirror in room & shower separate.
Located on a quiet side street, felt be unease walking after dark by myself.
Very good location. Near to subway station. Nice cafe and restaurant very close to the hotel. Friendly stuff who helped us alot. We got tips where to find a nice Italian reastaurants close to the hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet and simple. The street was also safe and quiet. Also wi-fi was available. From our room we had a view to the garden. It was possible to sit and relax in the garden too. We stayed four nights. Would go again:)
Nothing to complain. It was very hot outside but we managed with a fen.
the room was totally grand.. its was quite cute actually, I stayed in a single room .. it had everything I needed really and the bathroom/shower was clean.. and the location I thought was excellent.. metro just 3 or 4 mins walk away, and super near big shopping street.. if I was on my own again going to milan, I would stay here again..
The old man at the desk gave me the wrong wifi code! when I went downstairs, he just said the 4th floor sometimes doesnt get an internet connection..but I figured it out myself because part of the code was the street name so I corrected the spelling and I got it connected.. general internet was fine but videos were super slow to play and didnt really work.. and the tv had no reception.. but I didn't care..
Good location, nice room
Internet stopped working on Sunday night and never got restored
I like every thing about Malta hotel. It's close to central railway station, where we were arrive from the airport.Area is calm with many shops and one bakery-pizzeria at the first corner.Room is spacious with big bed.We had the best room that has balcony with garden set.Hotel has a beautifyl garden from the back side.Smell of Jasmin and birds are singing in the morning. For our needs all was over our expectations. We were for a city break in Milano and this hotel has every thing if you don't need toom much.Just a nice place where you could relax after whole day of exploring the city.
For me and my friend it was very good choice.Just maybe for the tall persons would be difficult via stears because you could hit your head if you don't watch.
excellent location for the city while being in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, plenty of local cafes and good restaurant nearby
No breakfast or even a cup of tea/coffee in-house
We got a room with a large terrace and a view to the garden. A good thing about the hotel was its ocation - just 2 min away from Corso Buenos Aires and close to the city center. 10 min away from the central station and close to metro stations.
Although the rooms are kept tidy, the furniture is very old. They had dirty glass on top of the drawers and bedside tables. The bathroom is very narrow and there is no shower handset so if you don't want to wash your hair every day, it would be a problem. Also we could here everything! people cimbing the stairs, taking a shower, flushing the toilet... The naighbours have a dog, so if not sth else - it wil wake you up early in the morning. Nott to mention that there was no sink in the bathroom but there was a big one in the room, which we found very uncomfortable.
Every think about the Malta was excellent I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wanted to stay I Milan ,and you did not have to go to far from to hotel to get breakfast
perfect location, very close to the metro station, close to the central railway station (even on foot), easy to find and safe neighbourhood, good connection to all sites. Clean and safe hotel, the room had everything you need, bathroom ensuite, good shower, bed linen and good set of towels. Reasonable price and value for money
My bed was not comfortable – I could feel every spring of the mattress! Quite noisy, but I guess it is the same in all hotels of budget category: noise comes from the street and even more – from the next-door rooms because of the very thin walls. You can hear water running and flushing, etc. No elevator, which it somewhat inconvenient if you room is on the fourth floor… although many thanks to the receptionist who helped me with my suitcase when I was checking out.
Room was clean, comfortable and practical (large sink in the room in addition to the private bathroom). A few minutes walk to the metro which takes you to the center of the city in 10 min. Good value for money. A nice typical restaurant Amarcord also closeby.
Unfortunately the man in the reception did not speak any English at all (nor French). Also the reception could have been more welcoming which we experienced in other places we visited in Italy. We asked for the city map and location of some sites on the map but all this made us feel as if we were bothering him.
Convinient and economic. It's very near to Milan Central Railway Station, to Doumu Square and to Airport.
This hotel was ideal for visiting Milan on a budget. The single room was well designed, quiet and the heating was good - it was winter. The wifi worked and was free. The area felt safe - shops and restaurants nearby. Very close to the Metro and a reasonable walk from the central station. I would stay there again.
Very good, near everything, very quiet and very clean. Not expensive!
Good location. One of the better priced options in Milan.
Unfortunately Milan is (too) expensive. Toilets a little different in flushing mechanism.
- not far from a regular metro line - not far from shopping area (buenos aires)
- no lift and lots of stairs, not practical with luggage - ratio price/services very poor and no breakfast or vending machine - small bathrooms and dark - no air conditioning
no air conditioning in the room (except for for a simple fan)
