The family is completely family-operated, in fact there is a wonderful sequence of generations involved, from grandparents to the youngest of grandchildren, occasionally in sight. The welcome is very warm and hospitable and the location is superb, next to one of the most luxurious beaches in Italy, and within pleasant walking distance of the spectacular site of Paestum. The food is superb, in the finest Italian family tradition, developed to refined levels. Even the fish and seafood is caught daily by the family, operating in fishing boats offshore from the hotel.
Nothing. My only suggestion to the operators would be to upgrade the Web site with professional photography, including "food photography" of the superb cuisine. This must be the only place in the world where you could have "pistachio mousse flanne" served as part of the breakfast buffet! Another suggestion would be Caution to ensure that all the dishes are properly heated at the moment of table service, so that we can enjoy the quality to the full.
Everything, the reception, the staff, the meals. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when my wife needed medical attention A family run business which works extremely well
Can't think of anything to not like!
The location is wonderful, views from the sea facing rooms quite stunning, particularly at sunset!. The family and staff were all most helpful; great dining, superb, home made food. Paestum archeological site within easy reach. Drives up to the Cilento mountains offer great views and pretty borgo villages.
Shame about the Paestum village. Not much to recommend it by.
Great views Right on the beach Staff couldn't be more helpful
Breakfast was poor Not much choice other than fish on menu for dinner
Everything....a traditional hotel on the beach but a two minute car ride or 10 minute bike ride from one of the wonders of the world...Paestum a complete Greek..Roman city..that you can walkthrough... an unforgettable experience. The museum attached brings out the magic of this unique and ancient place by providing countless artefacts and their stories... all recovered from this site.If you tire of archaeology..there is the wonderful Vannulo. Buffalo farm to visit. We wish we had had more time and would love to go back..one day.
Great view from balcony
BEAUTIFUL hotel right on the beach! Nice size rooms and bathroom, very clean. Nice breakfast buffet, savory and sweet items. Wonderful hospitality -- Rita was so welcoming, helpful and accommodating -- made our stay extra nice. Speaks perfect English. Wish we could have stayed longer-- definitely coming back for longer stay. Highly recommend!
Everything was great
Location, and the Staff very nice family, the Restaurant very good....
the facilitys on the Toilette the door of the shower was broken and we where a group of 3 and the room should be ready for 3 with everything toawels for everyone ans things like that...........small things.........
The location is fabulous and the staff very accommodating. The owner and his son even drove us around. The restaurant was outstanding with very good food.
The rooms are old , clean, but dated. Although he restaurant was very good we felt the prices were quite a bit on the high side.
Great ocean view from balcony, room clean and bed comfortable, staff willing to give advice, large hotel with all amenities that we required, very quiet when we were there in Oct think area would be very busy tourist season as full of a amusement parks etc
Nothing at all really, parking a bit tight for our car, this is the case all over Italy.
