Hotel Marcantonio  

The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and in a great location. Breakfast servers and food was very good. Would gladly stay here again.

Breakfast was served in the room and had to be eaten on the bed rather than in the check in area. Space was a little tight.

Central position, low budjet and good apartment

Good location, only a few minutes walk from Termini station.

Transit stay of one night. Didn't really see anything wrong with this hotel. Comfortable enough, nice location. For me it was good.

Two stars but those stars are real - propably the best two stars hotel in Rome 1) Great location (minutes from main Termini station and not far from old town) 2) Safe (hotel is well supervised) 3) Clean (cleaning room and bathroom every day) 4) Good batthroom, matraces in bed and great towels 5) Breakfest (generic, but deleverd to bed and really good coffee!) 6) Staff not local origin (I suppose Indian, but very helpful) 7) Wifi is for free in reception (if possible ask for room near it - I've got such and used internet for free in room)

Door has very bad isolation so you can hear everything from corridor - so I think everybody can hear what you do in your room - especially during night - so make love in silence:(

Staff were friendly. Room was spotless. Comfy pillows. Location was great being a 2 min walk from Termini Station.

Breakfast was nothing to write home about....but this is probably to be expected given the price of the room.

Location is brilliant as just 5 minutes to Termini station and bus stops.Can reach main city attractions by walk as it is historical centre.Breakfast was good and always on time.Wi-fi was very good. Staff helpful and nice.Also big plus drink menu in reception area.

Price, location, continental breakfast. This hotel was clean and very convenient. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were not. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Internet was available throughout the hotel, although it could be unreliable at times. Our rooms did not face the street, so we didn't hear any street noise. The desk staff was courteous and friendly. There were a number of good restaurants within walking distance. It was also walking distance to the tourist bus stop at Termini.

Size of shower, lack of soundproofing. There did not appear to be any insulation between the rooms. We could hear virtually everything from both sides. We had two rooms. One shower was "normal" sized. One shower was barely big enough to fit a somewhat large male in. That was room 17. If you need a larger shower, avoid room 17. It was a nice room other than a tight shower.

Good place near metrostation and railwaystation. A lot of shops and restaurants near the hotel. So close to Colosseum and another nice and amazing places.

That the location is good, Close to the bus station and metro and that is a lot of help.

Just noticed that the curtains,esp the white ones are not clean.

Room was clean, most of the staff were friendly and helpful (there was one night receptionist that wasn't so nice!), very close to Termini station which was an advantage--easy transportation to all attractions and to other cities. Basic room that serves its purpose for a trip where you only intend to spend a few hours sleeping in the room every night.

The breakfast was small and not so good but I understand that is the norm for budget hotels in Rome.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was satisfying. Room was very clean, it was cleaned every day. Location was very good, you can reach every point in Rome from Termini station. You can walk about 2 minutes to Termini station.

The room is too small. The bathroom smells terrible. The price increased 50%+ in the last 3 years.

5 min walk from train station Termini. Room was clean, WC in the room.

Shower a little bit small, but it was clean. So no big problem.

If location is the most important feature to you, this could be a good option. You are really near to both metro and train stations. In ~15min walking you are in Colosseum. Room size was ok and the price very affordable.

However, Marcantonio needs lot of improvement. The rooms are noisy: you listen everything if your neighbors speak a bit louder. Bathrooms walls had some mold. Breakfast was very poor: has they don't have a room for meals, they serve it in your room. It is very limited (1 hot drink, 1 juice, 2 toasts and 1 bread) and not so tasty... When booking the hotel, it is better for you to considered there is no breakfast. Probably you can find better hotels in this zone for the same price.

Location was GREAT! The room was clean and tidy. I do highly recommend this hotel!

Location close to Termini train station. Breakfast, though very basic, is served in the room and on time requested the previous evening. I will not hesitate to rebook same hotel next visit to bella Roma.

Hotel's name i.e MARCANTONIO deserves better exposure. We had no difficulty in finding it since I had read previous reviews which indicated clearly how to find it. The AC in the room allocated (no17) was not cooling properly and needs attention, nor was the fridge but this did not effect us at all since we did not need it.

Its position was excellent an easy walk from Roma Termini. Room was very clean and quiet

it was good but break fast was not good they sereve only tea / coffee and A bread. that is all in break fast .
