A older but gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. The rooms with views are amazing.

Good location, very pleasant staff, convenient restaurant.

The room curtains were too thin, so early morning light came right through them, and the street light at night made it hard to get to sleep.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and good dinner at their restaurant.Even though room is small, sufficient for our one night stay.

The desk staff on duty insisted on a additional $100 charge for 72 hours Internet use even though they advertised as free Internet. This was sorted out after we showed the booking.com confirmation and another staff intervened. We did hear them telling others the same charge....so make sure you clarify this.

Very helpfull young staff who could not have done more to help us park in a busy area we ended up parked in their store room at least the car was safe Breakfast was fine and served on the terrace over looking the lake we would go back

We had a very nice stay here- the hotel is right on the lake and has a restaurant attached which wee ate at often - great food and good value. This is a family run hotel and the team all work in the hotel and in the restaurant- their service and their friendliness is excellent - breakfast is included and was very good and best coffee we have had so far

The location next to the lake is excellent. We had a room facing the lake with a small balcony with excellent views. Although the room was small it was very clean, with lovely white fluffy towels changed everyday. Staff were all very friendly, food in the restaurant belonging to hotel is great, George the waiter was really helpful, and we able to share starter, pasta dish and pizza, so made it excellent value.

The gentlemen at the reception were perfect! We arrived late and there was no parking place in front of the hotel. They did their best to find a different parking slot in a nearby garage. Waiters in the restaurant were also very nice.

Hotel Marco's is the ideal location for visiting the lake region. The staff was engaging, helpful and friendly. The breakfast made you feel like you were eating at home and the cappuccino was one of the best.

Everything was great!

Location was great, right on harbour at Como, and next door to the cable car. Breakfast was good and restaurant was very good, WIFI was free. If you can live with a small room it is a good option in Como.

The room was very small and we only had hand luggage as we had a car, but if you have two suite case you would not fit them in.

I liked everything about the hotel. The rooms were clean and the view from the rooms was outstanding. I would recommend sending a note to the staff before the trip to reserve the room with a view. It does not cost anything extra. The staff were very friendly and kind. The location of the hotel was fabulous. It is in the heart of the downtown and therefore very convenient for any tourist. I would definitely stay at same hotel.

First of all definately need to be refurnish. there was a terrible smell coming up from the bathroom. air contioner wasnt proper. breakfast was quite poor.

Well situated for train and town. Good location close to Lake Como. Restaurant food very good. Room small but comfortable and very clean. Staff very polite and friendly. Front of house staff speak good English.

I had a perfect romantic restaurant for dinner, food was excellent. It could have been better if we were recommended to wrap up our dinner with their favorite Tiramisu. Breakfast was fabulous, served with real Italian coffee - perfect. Great food too.

I would recommend the hotel to add a blind to the windows facing street lamps.

Fabulous location, views over the lake and just in front of the Funiculare, which is a must do at lake como. Staff kind and helpful.

The room was so small there was literally no room to open the suitcases. Bathroom large but wasted space. I guess there's nothing they can do about the design of a very old building, but I would never stay there again. Just too uncomfortable. And no elevator, luggage had to be dragged up stairs, though the staff did the lifting.

La location: a 2 passi dal centro di Como e sul porto! Senza andare lontano, ci sono anche ristoranti vicinissimi. Insomma per una notte, bastava!

La camera era con due letti e talmente piccola che l'armadio per sistemare la nostra roba non si poteva aprire senza spostare uno dei letti! Abbiamo trovato un pelo su un asciugamano... Le coperte avevano un colore strano... Il parcheggio per l auto in un viale strettissimo.
