Staff were very helpful, the location being near the rialto waterbus stop was very convenient. Maybe a larger television would increase the class and softer pillows. |

I liked being in "the center" of Venice and the convenient availability to water services; and I very much appreciated the helpful information supplied by the English-speaking staff. |

Second visit enjoyed as much as the first. Central location on the Grand Canal ideal for exploringall parts of Venice. Lovely big room & new bathroom. Friendly staff. Will visit again. Lack of lift may cause problems for elderly |

hotel was very central, right beside rialto bridge. had lovely room with a balcony looking onto grand canal for last 2 nights.staff efficient and courteous.hotel clean and warm. on our first night there we were put into a tiny double room. we had to put our suitcase in the bathroom as no room for it in the bedroom!room so small the 2 of us could just about stand in there together! had to que to get table at breakfast one morning as dining room small. |

The location very close to the Rialto bridge was a big factor in this hotel's favour. It was very easy to find and ideally situated. The breakfast was limited in choice but excellent with both hot and cold food available. Stairs would be a problem to those with limited mobility. |

The front desk staff was exceptional. Very HELPFUL.The full breakfast was great. The location is perfect. The air conditioning in 4th floor hall and room 403 needs to be serviced and I suspect the ac filters need to be changed. Room 203 wasn't much colder. |

Friendly atmosphere and well managed hotel. Guests feel well taken care of. Breakfast was rather good and included sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs as well as cornflakes and a choice of cereals. When you exit the hotel...voila...you are immediately in the centre of all the shopping and action. 1. If you arrive by public transport vaporetto at the canal stop at Rialto, then be prepared to drag all your heavy bags etc over the Pont du Rialto bridge - this is not a task I would recommend for grandma's. 2. At hotel there is no lift...but the ever smiling Phillipine porter does an excellent job in carrying the bags. 3. Try to get a room on the first floor as less of a climb. |

close to the city's center, next to Rialto, clean, comfortable room for three persons.I would visit again There were not working hours for the stuff. The carpenter was working all the afternoon, the maids also were cleaning almost all day, making o lot of noise. |

Accessability to everything that Venice had to offer...very central. Reception was very helpful. With an exception of one member of reception we asked for a nice restaurant, he gave us a card of a restaurant that completly ripped us off!! We received 3 different menues. One with prices, one without and on receiving the bill & questioning it, we received a third menue with higher prices to concur with the high price of our bill...very unhappy we were. |

Location was the key to this hotel. The room was incredibly basic and possibly the worst room we have stayed in , in Venice. Carpets in hallway/stairs dirty and unpleasant. |

Staff friendly and helpfull after a bit of confusion about prepaid arrangement. This was sorted out without argument. View of bridge and cannal excelent. Cooked breakfast was cold. But all other good and breakfast room well organised. The room we stayed in was very small. I would recommend this hotel but with reservations. |

Choosing Hotel Abbazia means you can enjoy breakfast in the peaceful garden each morning. Perfect however you arrive in Venice, the hotel is just 100 metres from Santa Lucia Station. |
Hotel Sant'Elena gives you the chance to explore Venice from a peaceful, green area just a 10-minute water-bus ride from Saint Mark's square. Relax in this former convent's well-kept gardens. |
The Best Western Hotel Ala is set in a quiet corner of a little square. The nearby vaporetto stop (Giglio) provides great connection to all of Venice. You can walk to Saint Mark's Square. |
Located right next to the Rialto Bridge you could not ask for a better location in Venice. Enjoy free Wi-Fi, breakfast in bed, and total comfort at Palazzo Bembo. |
