Mare Nostrum Bed and Breakfast  

We stayed in Pozzallo for anight before getting the ferry to Malta. Mare Nostrum b&b is a great place to stay. The rooms are big, the location is great and the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend this b&B.

Perfect location in the heart of Pozzallo especially if travelling from Malta by catamaran and arriving late. Only 5 minutes drive from Banchina Di Riva and easy to park if travelling by car with a 200 car park space just round the corner. Owner very helpful and perfect english speaking. Very clean and spacious rooms equiped with a large LCD TV. Good and plentiful buffet breakfast. In my experience this is the best hotel in Pozzallo. Keep it up, thanks and hope to see you soon.

My Husband & I stayed for 3 nights & the proprioter, Mr Caruso, was so welcoming & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. He gave us lots of helpful tips & advice especially as we had never travelled to Sicily before. The room was large & spacious we even had an extra bed. Bathroom facilities, towels & toiletries were first class. The breakfast was varied & reasonably priced. We had an early morning trip which was before reakfast as due to start & we could have had breakfast earlier. We had read many reveiws about this b & b & have to agree are very accurate. We travel extensively & would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Mare Nostrum.

This place deserves to be way up in the stars for everything very friendly and I will recommend it to anyone and when I'm around next time I will defnetly stay here again

I liked this b&b which offered a spacious room with shower room, large tv, new furniture / accessories / toiletry, etc. The room was cosy, warm (in Feb) with a/c and well sized desk and sofa. The staff very nice and kind people.

The few things to mention is that my room did not had a direct window to the street (limited sunlight) and parking may be a problem.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner even drove us to a place to buy our bus tickets home.

The hotel has been updated well with individual touches that make it bright, modern and airy. The staff were lovely and it was very quiet at night - we slept well. The breakfast was plentiful, with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, pastries and juices as well as different choices of hot drinks. The cappuchino was excellent!

We stayed there only 2 nights. The room was very confortable, breakfast was nice and the staff were delicous.

Das Mare Nostrum kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Preis / Leistung sind hervorragend! Ich hatte nur eine Nacht gebucht, da ich diesen Mai 2012 auf der Durchreise nach Malta war. Vom Besitzer des b&b wurden ich und mein kleiner Hund, der übrigens gratis im Zimmer übernachten durfte, zu später Stunde um 0.30 Uhr herzlichst empfangen. (Informieren sie jedoch das Hotel vor Anreise über ein allenfalls mitreisendes Haustier wie auch über ein late check in - die Reception schliesst normalerweise früh). Das mir zugeteilte Hotelzimmer war sehr sauber und vorallem riesig gross - in einem 5* Hotel würde ein solches Zimmer unter Suite verkauft werden und viel Geld kosten. Die Zimmer sind ohne grossen Schnick-Schnack aber dafür sehr liebevoll und zweckmässig eingerichtet - hatte sogar einen grossen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Am Morgen wurde ich von einer freundlichen Dame am Frühstücksbuffet empfangen. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist zwar nicht riesig dafür jedoch lecker. Summa Summarum: ich habe mich in diesem Hotel absolut wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Sollte ich wieder einmal in Pozzallo sein und ein Hotel benötigen, werde ich mich wiederum im Mare Nostrum einbuchen. Hiermit bedanke ich mich nochmals beim ganzen Mare Nostrum Team für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!!!

Das heisst, dass man in ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuss im Zentrum wie aber auch am Meer ist. Den moderaten Autoverkehr wie auch eventuell laut vorbeiziehende Fussgänger kann man im Hotelzimmer jedoch wahrnehmen. Für ganz lärmepfindliche Leute, wäre dies ein Grund für eine Reklammation. Deshalb rate ich Gästen, die sehr lärmempfindlich sind im Hotel ein Zimmer gegen Hinten zu beantragen oder von einer Buchung abzusehen. Das Mare Nostrum verdient nur die besten Bewertungen und ist für notorische Nörgeler sicherlich nicht die richtige Unterkunft.

Avevamo scelto questo b&b solo come base per le zone limitrofe per l'offerta molto conveniente (28 euro), pensando che fuori stagione Pozzallo fosse "deserta", pensando di doverci adattare invece abbiamo trovato delle stanze pulite e ben tenute, il gestore gentile e disponibile, letto comodo, forse appena un po di rumorosità dalle altre stanze, probabilmente perché le stanze sono ricavate dentro un condominio, ma niente di che. Veramente più che un b&b un piccolo albergo in una posizione buona per visitare anche I dintorni, da Marzamemi a Modica.

La cortesia del figlio e del padre sono davvero impeccabili, ti senti a casa,la posizione è ottima, per visitare tutte le più belle zone attorno, la stanza è pulita con tutto l'occorrente, consigliatissimooooooo
