Situated at the heart of Pozzallo, a nice seaside resort lying on a fine sandy beach, the bed and breakfast lies only a few miles from stunning Baroque sites, and 90 minutes by catamaran from Malta. During your stay you can spend your days visiting the range of attractions that the area has to offer, including: the nature reserves of Vendicari and Simeto; the impressive countryside and valleys; the Baroque gems of Modica, Ragusa, Scicli and Noto; and the archeological sites of Ispica. For a more relaxing stay you can visit the fine sandy beaches of Pozzallo, and soak up the warm Mediterranean sun. I liked best the hospitality of the hotel staff. Mr Caruso is very caring towards his clients and ensures that he provides the best quality service in all aspects - food, cleanliness, comfort, and most imortantly friendliness and helpfulness.

We stayed in Pozzallo for anight before getting the ferry to Malta. Mare Nostrum b&b is a great place to stay. The rooms are big, the location is great and the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend this b&B.

Excellent breakfast. This hotel was probably recently refurbished and it is situated close to the beach with parking space next to hotel. The people of this hotel are very very welcome gave us a very professional service. will be back to this hotel. We highly recommend a good stay in Pozzallo at Mare Nostrum Bed and breakfast. and enjoy the beach :)

The people there are just wonderful! We send our greetings to them and thanks once again for your hospitality and care! We stayed one night in Mare Nostrum with our small daughter during our trip from Malta to Sicily and we were amazed how wonderfully they treated us during our short stay... Thank you so much!

The hotel has been updated well with individual touches that make it bright, modern and airy. The staff were lovely and it was very quiet at night - we slept well. The breakfast was plentiful, with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, pastries and juices as well as different choices of hot drinks. The cappuchino was excellent!

Courteous host and hostess. Reasonable price. Pozzallo is not a tourist town, and so one can really experience the real city life. It is an excellent base for exploring the more famous towns around, such as Moderna, Ragusa and Noto by taking the local bus. In so doing, we saved qutie substantially in the room rate. The toilet did not flush properly due to design flaw. We had to use the bucket or had to flush three times. The room is a bit small, and not comfortable enough. There were ants in the bathroom.

Ho trovato molta dispobibilità e cordialità con tutti gli addetti alla struttura. Il proprietario è sempre presente e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Struttura che consiglierei sicuramente anche per la sua posizione centrale in Pozzallo.

La cordialità e la preparazione culturale del proprietario, Franco Caruso, hanno saputo farci conoscere il territorio, l' arte e la fantastica cucina siciliana. Ha creato questa struttura con amore ed attenzione, sopperendo ad alcune piccole carenze strutturali dell'hotel (ad esempio la mancanza di balconi nelle stanze). Le deliziose colazioni sono state arricchite dalla fantastica frutta (fichi, fichi d'India, babane) provenienti direttamente dalle sue coltivazioni. Ci ha offeto anche una deliziosa serata all'insegna del gusto: piatti e vini tipici, da poter condividere con gli altri ospiti. Buona la posizione del BeB a cinque minuti dalle spiagge di sabbia e dalla limpida e leggera acqua di Pozzzallo e a pochi chilometri dalle principali città barocche della valle di Noto. Per tutti questi motivi lo consigliamo vivamente.

Tranne la posizione ( pur se rumorosa) tutto e' stato negativo , soprattutto la totale mancanza di pulizia della camera assegnataci ( documentabile con foto) e' stato talmente inadeguato che nessun prezzo potrebbe valere il soggiorno figuriamoci la tariffa giornaliera a noi applicata in agosto (!!!!) .Nostro malgrado e con tutti I disagi conseguenti,siamo stati pertanto costretti a cambiare alloggio .
