Hotel Mare  

boatshuttel was on strike on our arriving day but the hotel gave us a free pick up with their car, very nice. the staff was very helpfull and nice, there is a german sailing school right beside the hotel which also organizes scooters for rent, a good way to explore the island.

the beach is very tiny and it is not a sand beach but a stone beach. nevertheless there are beautiful beaches close to this hotel.

Very nice location. The hotel is on the sea side with a small private beach and a nice restaurant on the boat dock.

Only small shortfall was the distinction in the restaurant between guests who stay as pensioners and guests of the B&B. Some of the waiters would not give the time of day to the B&B guests!

Good value for money, good service, would recommend to anyone and will return. Most beautiful position.

Extremely helpful staff. I was collected and returned to the ferry at no charge. I was also taken to the pick up point when hiring a car. Internet usage was free!! Food was appetising and plentiful (stayed on half board basis). Room facilities have been upgraded to usage of high quality shower and bathroom equipment. Swimming pool and general exterior well maintained. Wonderful place to eat an evening meal whist watching the sun set. Apart from the Swiss Hiking holiday parties the hotel was generally very quiet - which was just what I wanted.

As I went in the middle of May not all expectations were met - it being just the start of the season. No small ferry available; beach in need of cleaning (however it was explained that the hotel has to wait for the local authority to give permission for this to happen??) But hey, this is Italy and one should be prepared to compromise on some things!

Posizione sul mare con acqua pulitissima e contesto incantevole ideale per una vacanza di relax, tutto lo staff estremamente gentile e disponibile, ristorante eccellente come scelta e qualità.

La condizione della spiaggia (anche se in concessione) potrebbe essere migliorata, aggiungendo magari anche un serbatoio provvisorio collegato ad una doccia con acqua dolce.

Rustige ligging. Voldoende facilliteiten. Fraai uitzicht vanaf balkon.(Alleen op de eerste en 2e etage) Goed ontbijt. Goed, tot het hotel behorende restaurant, op 25 mtr.

Enorm vervelende eerste ober. Ontbijt tussen 08.00 en 10.00 uur maar als je om 08.30 eitje vraagt zegt hij dat de keuken al gesloten is. Na een gesprek met de directie is man gecorrigeerd.

Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem ist das Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant gut. Das gleiche gilt für das Frühstück. Sehr ruhiges Hotel, ideal zum Entspannen. Der Strand ist nicht der tollste, aber mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen für die Hotelgäste.
