Great location very nice rooms
Very near to Termini station, 24 hours reception, clean and spacious room, bathroom and bed were very pleasing. Superb value for money. I recommend this place for those who would like to stay near Termini station.
WiFi is not free.
Right next to train station, clean, big bed was comfy, nice view
The elevator did not work and there were a tonnnnn of stairs, wifi was expensive and you have to pay per device!
Position in the city
The room was dirty, bed sheets with lots of dirt and not clean at all. Cleaning didn't change sheets or do anything. Lot of dust in the room. In addition the sound isolation was just terrible. You were awake each time when someone left the room. Not recommended at all! Just stay away from this one!
Closely located to Termini station, the hotel was comfortable. They have 24 hours reception. The room was big and the bed was quite good. The bathroom is adequate. You get a good service for the money you are paying. I recommend this place for those who would like to stay near Termini and walk to the city.
WiFi is not free and the speed was not that good.
The hotel is located in a poor district that can be rated as below average, the only good thing is that it's near the metro and the train station, it's good if you're a couple of friends that will not stay in the hotel, if you're a couple or a family I don't recommend
I bought this trip for my parents for mum's 60th birthday. She was very pleased with this hotel. They got a beautiful huge room. They arrived before the check in time, but were checked in immediately. Lovely, courteous staff.
Close to Tremmi Central Sation
located in a rough area, didn't feel very safe
Great location close to Roma Termini and clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend
Slightly grumpy man on reception on checking out
Clean rooms and toilets Air conditioning Comfortable bed Good location - 15 minutes on foot to Coliseum
Poor breakfast for 5 Euro Paid internet Bad view from window
The hotel is located almost next to the Termini station. Perfect cause that's the station that has a direct train line to the airport and all metros are crossing this point. We didn't expect much of the rooms for the price we paid, but were surprised of the comfortable and clean rooms. Also a good shower and towel service. In our opinion Mariano is the perfect hotel for citytrips.
You can't leave the hotel with your key, you have to leave it at the reception (I'm sure it's because of safety reasons, we were not told..). It feels not right that everybody can walk into the hotel, claim your card (without them asking for your ID) and enter your room. But again, I don't know their reason of choice, so maybe it's a good thing they don't let their keys out on the street..
Close to the Roma Termini station.
very good location, close Termini Station, lots of restaurants around; very helpfull staff, rooms clean, good breakfast
We stayed in two rooms. One room was huge and the other was small, but had a larger bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Its a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. We did have to pay a minimal fee for WiFi, however the connection was great so it was worth it for us. We bought breakfast everyday for 5 Euro each which was convenient (bread, cereal, juice, coffee). We were also able to check-in late, however the staff seemed confused. We were able to use the left luggage service as well.
The staff were ok and somewhat helpful, but not overly kind or polite.
Good location. Lovely reception staff with good sense of humour. Very clean. Good value €5 breakfast.
Lift a bit dodgy.
Location, close to Termini Station.
Breakfast was very basic, even as a continental breakfast. Each day we had to pay cash for this meagre breakfast instead of a simple charge back to the room. there was also no refrigerator and no tea making.
Location more or less.. It's 30 minutes walk to almost all main attractions, but you live in a quite dirty and dangerous area with a lot of immigrants. It's Chinese region, after 21 I wouldn't recommend to go out here..
Rooms are old and extremely small!!! Too small for 2 people.. You can only sleep here, they don't have fridge (even small for drinks),nor tea-kettle. The coffee-machine downstairs doesn't work. The clean towels smell badly. There is no place in room where you can make sandwiches or small food, no table for it. Reception wants you to leave you room key every time you leave and you need to show your pass every time you come back.. It's very uncomfortable and also not safe to have your pass all the time with you in Rom but you have to because of the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel! No way! Don't spoil your vacation, choose another one!
e travel as family 3youngster but they make us 2room instead of one family room. Nxt day we travel to venice may be bugbed cause all our body rush red all over our body. Its worse thing ever happen to us.
all swoolen red over the skin may be bugbed but woerse thing ever happen to our trip.
Locations and big rooms and nice breakfast
Ac,Cheap wifi and lcd tv in the room
The room didn't come with WIFI you had to pay extra.
staff wasgood and helpfull
Good location, close to Termini station and old town center. 5 minutes to Metro stations. Clean rooms.
The walls were very thin, like if was none... we heard everything from the neighbour bathroom, people peeing, taking shower, drying hair, talking to each other (i was even able to understand what they said). Very annoying during late evening or the middle of the night. Similar problem with the room door, lots of noise when people move in the corridors, open/close their room doors.
Loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, close enough to the Roma Termini to walk but far away enough to be away from the crowds. It is best to pick up the 2 day train (METRO) pass at the Roma Termini that allows you unlimited access to the metro trains. Blue line goes towards the Colosseum and Red line goes towards the Vatican City. All other sites are walkable.
I didnt have an issue with this hotel at all. But for those who would like to know, my room did not have a view from the window, but I really did not care about it, since I preferred to have the air conditioning on, so would keep the window closed all the time :) Amazing hotel.
