Marignolle Relais & Charme  

This is a delightful country house hotel in a wonderful rural location, yet within easy striking distance of Florence. Family run, it has a real caring feel to it with the hosts going out of their way to make guests welcome. Our triple room (double with extra bed) was a good size without being huge, although it wasn't cramped. The private shady terrace added significantly to our "estate" - especially useful at night when our daughter was in bed. The standards of furnishing and cleanliness were very high throughout whilst the grounds are nothing short of idyllic. Free WiFi was useful and there was an elegant sitting room for guests to use. Very nice breakfast, served in a wonderful sunny atrium. Lovely pool, but beware if you're not good with heights: there is a steep set of steps down to the pool area. As regards location, it's close enough to the city to come back in the afternoon for a break and return for the evening. Central Florence is within 10 miles, so it's easy to get to - the traffic was not a big problem. Parking in the city is very difficult, but you can drive part way, park more easily then get a bus. The hotel staff are very helpful with this sort of advice. If you don't fancy the hustle and bustle of the city, then the nearby town (close but not walking distance and the road is surprisingly busy) offers a few eating options and in addition there is a decent restaurant very close to the hotel. However, don't stay here and not visit Florence: it is one of the lovliest cities in the world.

The rooms are average. No room service. We asked for 2 water picthers, I assumed tap, and it appeared on our bill.

bel hotel dont la réputation me semble surfaite : petit déjeuner indigne pour un 4 *: jus chauds car non réfrigérés ainsi que les yaourts pas de jus d'orange frais présence à table de fruits blettes immangeables quelques biscottes et pains . Les croissants sont offerts sur demande(pas terribles) les oeufs sont payants.Troisième lit de mauvaise qualité , une route rapide est en construction au bas de l'hotel et devrait rapidement nuire à la tranquilité de l' hotel bref ralant car avec un minimum d'effort et de présence des patrons l' hotel pourrait être agréable à vivre , pas inoubliable séjour possibilité de trouver mieux à prix égal à Florence ex: la villa Olmi, le Mulino di Firenze

uitstekende locatie dicht bij historisch centrum van Firenze, zeer verzorgd en schoon. Personeel zeer toegewijd. Eiland van rust en relax in groene heuvels, toch zeer nabij grote stad. Goede uitvalbasis voor trips in Toscana.

Gostamos do conforto.Cada detalhe do decor é realmente lindo!. A paisagem é maravilhosa, fica fora do centro de Firenze e por istomgostamos muito. Café da manhã excelente.

Lugar muito charmoso, bonito e romântico. Próximo do centro histórico de carro. Uma casa de campo agradável

Très bien situe pour visiter Florence (5mn en voiture du 1er parking). Personnels agréables et piscine bien utile pour se rafraichir. Déjeuner correct et ne pas hésiter de demander au personnel des compléments si besoin.

On a passé un séjour très agréable, dans cet établissement à mi-chemin entre l'hôtel et le B&B, déjà un peu à la campagne mais seulement à 10 mn en voiture du centre de Florence. La chambre pour 4 est belle et spacieuse. Le parc est magnifique et la piscine bien aménagée avec une belle vue. Idéal pour se reposer après les visites de Florence.

El Marignole Relais & Charme es la esencia de la Toscana. El ambiente tanto interior como exterior es magnífico. El personal es extraordinariamente amable y eficiente. Es una base magnífica para explorar Florencia y la Toscana.

Solo un pequeño problema. Al estar ubicado en el campo y en verano, hay que proveerse de medios antimosquitos.
