One of the best hotel in Positano
Incredible pool with sensational views. The staff were so friendly. Delicious large buffet breakfast so fresh and replaced constantly. Brilliant location for the beach (lots of steps but same everywhere in positano) local bus and coastal bus to sorrento/amalfi. Live pianist some evenings on terrace was wonderful.
Everything was superb
Wifi was very bad, and should be an easy fix.
Spectacular setting Worth paying for sea view larger balcony Outdoor dining area lovely with view and lemon/ orange trees overhead and still flowering vines everywhere in Nov Staff are exceedingly gracious and tremendously helpful Breakfast excellent best of our trip
Beds and pillows are too firm for 4 star hotel Slippers provides are lovely but only fit a smaller womans foot- suggest a larger men's size Bathroom -shower needs a different setup ? Partition ?as water all over the foor despite best efforts
The view. The breakfast. The atmosphere.
Loved the view, the charm, the garden, the huge room, the friendly staff. Lovely stay.
Our room didnt have wifi and the living room in the villa didn't either, although staff said that should be working. Would be nice if the pool was heated as it was too cold to use.
Great hotel, nice to have access to the beach, great views and lovely breakfast.
Rooms very nice Great areas for sun lounging Great salads in the restaurant
Slow service at the pool Bar staff entirely overwhelmed in the evening
The views, the size of the rooms (lounge, bedroom and bathroom) were huge, wonderful service from the staff and, in particular, all the breakfast staff who were an absolute delight. All the facilities including the rooms were clean.
Room 260 is directly under a large sun-deck where from very early morning to very late at night the deck chairs were being moved which echoed throughout our room making impossible to sleep after 7 am or before 11pm which was a shame for it was a lovely room. Surely if staying 4 nights a more apt room would be allocated.
Property was beautiful. Staff great, restaurant had excellent food. Enza at reception have us wonderful information, john at the pool very friendly.
Everything. The staff was exceptional. Enza - an amazing asset. The view from anywhere on the property is a valued memory..
Having to leave
The view was postcard perfect! So relaxing after a busy tour schedule. The piano music we enjoyed from our terrace was so romantic. Best destination in Italy so far!
Could not stay longer.
The gardens, views and rooms are spectacular. The restaurant had some of the best food of our trip.
It seemed a bit understaffed which may be because we were there in late October.
A wonderful hotel with a great location and friendly staff. The area is beautiful surrounding the hotel with lemon and orange trees on the main terrace and beautiful flowers growing everywhere. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer. Loved that you could take the stairs down to the beach area, made it very convenient. Also the breakfast was amazing, the best that we had in all of our hotels in Italy. Looking forward to some day going back and staying here again.
The only comlpaint would be that the pool was freezing. Granted we were there in October but it was still very hot out and the pool was colder than the sea. Thought it may warm up throughout the day but it did not. Also it was unusual to have a queen bed that was 2 singles pushed together. A little difficult to sleep on with a ridge in the middle.
View & location couldn't be beat! Fantastic!
Mattresses a little hard but still a great experience. The staff were very kind and accommodating! But the views, views, views!
Wi fi did not work well
Our room was spacious clean and had a fantastic view of the water. The staff was so friendly and helpful during our stay. We loved eating our breakfast on the beautiful patio. It was a place we would highly recommend too others.
The wi-fi was not very good in our room, but worked better in the lobby.
The staff were wonderful. Great location, near everything. We loved having breakfast on the beautiful patio.
Wifi was spotty.
great view from the room, great location, and great facilities
yet one should be careful with room type as every room is very different from one another. take the long way from the ferry station to the hotel, the short one from the beach ends with lots of steps. might not deserve the price despite great location if not lucky with the room selection
We had a bee belated honeymoon and after traveling around Rome and Salerno this hotel was a welcome escape. The JR suit was huge and I loved the turn down service such a touch. The pool overlooking the med was amazing and the pool stuff were great. We did not want to leave
The wifi in the room was very poor. But we came away to escape so this was not to much of a problem.
Lovely room. Views position
Wi fi was poor. Wedding on late at night below our balcony meant shuffling of tables and chairs by staff in the early hours that disturbed our sleep.
The location and staff were great. Breakfast was ok, not great.
Beds were uncomfortable. The rooms and common areas are dated and could use some updating. Wifi is poor in the rooms but works well in the lobby.
It was a beautiful hotel with gorgeous terrace, gardens, lobby and rooms and beautiful views.Great location being close to town. You can walk via the charming little streets or down the steps to the beach to reach the heart of Positano. Good food, piano player some nights, safe, quiet, friendly and a good value. They have a pool and beach below, although you need to walk down many steps to access the beach. We loved our stay and would return.
Pool was a little chilly, but we were there in late September, Internet was spotty but we lived everything else.
