Featuring a heated indoor pool and a rooftop bar with 360° views out over Florence, this ultra-modern hostel is a 10-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station.

Just 380 yards from Santa Maria Novella train station, Hotel Anna’s is in historic central Florence, a 5-minute walk from Florence Cathedral. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free internet access....

Hotel Medici features a rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Florence Cathedral. A 2-minute walk from Duomo Square, it offers basic rooms with simple decoration.

Hotel Bellavista is a 2-minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station, and less than 10 minutes by foot from the cathedral.
Score from 403 reviews Very good
We liked it because it was very near the train station, only cost 40 euros and had breakfast. We were tired so this was ideal.
The double bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together :( This meant it wasn't that comfortable. The wifi was slow but improved after a while. The staff took ages to answer the door and we had to go down to fetch our passports. The room was small, but we only stayed a night. FYI all the tap water in Florence is heavily chlorinated and not suitable for drinking. Not the hotel's fault, I know, but they didn't mention anything to us, by which time it was too late to buy bottled water.
How beautiful poetry changes ones heart profoundly, so did this magical place had an impact on me! What a beautiful surprise this total absence of time and the athmosphere of another reality! a feeling of importancy in each breath i take and every heart beat that goes by!
That i had to go...
A bit worn-out. Really small bathroom. It was hard to find (4-5 hotels in the same building)
Location was the only thing this hotel had on offer.
As soon as we stepped foot into the room we were greeted by the smells of bleach and drain cleaner which was highly overwhelming and extremely chemically. There were no fans so we opened the door for around 5-10 minutes to get some ventilation into the room. Next thing we know there are a number of mosquitos flying around. Two nights later they were still in the room and after having swatted them away we noticed other mosquito marks on the wall indicating there was a noticeable issue before us. Wifi signal was extremely poor and constantly dropped in/out at various times throughout the morning and night. Not very happy/pleased with overall experience, just glad we are out!
Not far from the central railway station as well as from the city center. The room is clean and tidy, breakfast (in a dining room on the first floor of the building) is rich and various, staff is very polite.
Toilet door latch was broken.
The location, not far from the station was perfect. Lots of eating places handy and not far from the sights. We felt we really experienced Florence because of the location. We spent 4 days and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was simple but quite adequate. The room was fine. The staff really went that extra step to help us with train info etc. they stored our bags after we checked out so that we didn't have to lug them around for the morning.
Great value for money
the location location
About 10 min walk from train & bus station, and another 10-15 min from cathedral of Florence and most interesting places.
- the room was very big and bright, although the view was poor - breakfast was good - location - walking distance to main attractions in Florence - very good restaurants near by - stuff was very friendly and helpful
- very hard to find the entrance - you have to actually walk the street to see it; the numbers on buildings are both red and blue and GPS is no use - parking (you have to park in a garage, there are about 3 in the area - and you have to leave your car key there, because this is the custom; we recommend Garage Excelsior - it's a little further - about 800m - 1km, but the price was right and the people very friendly) - you have to walk with the bags to the hotel and go up to second floor - no elevator
It's a charming old building. The location is excellent, very close to the nicest sites and close to the train station. Breakfast is honest, the place is clean and the shower works well.
I have no complaints! It's great value for the money!
Staff's attitude is very good!
Good value and in the centre of town, good breakfast and helpful staff let us keep our bags there after we checked out so we could look around town before leaving.
Toilet leaked once when flushed and lots of hairs on the floor but mainly clean.
Staff's behavior, room, housekeeping service, breakfast, and the location was not bad.
The price over 100 Euro per night was a bit expensive compared to the location and the type of hotel. I would say that 60 or maximum 70 Euros per night is a very fair price. The most difficult part was the type of road to reach the hotel from the Railway station was extremely bad to stroll down with the baggage. The hotel management could help guests by arranging a pick up or at least transporting the baggage from the station to the hotel. I won't mind paying 10 Euros extra for such a service. And the hotel MUST have a hoarding outside the building. Otherwise, it is extremely difficult to find the location on the very long street.
Friendly staff, excellent location relative to railway station and main attractions of the city.
Hotel location is very close to the train station and there are good restaurants in the hotel's street. The staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable and big enough for 4 adult people. I need to specify that, we made reservation to Hotel Marine, but we stayed Hotel Azzi because the reception asked us to stay there.
Wi-Fi connection did not work in the room. It was only working in the lobby. There was no balcony or openable window in the room (the room was on the ground floor). I need to specify that, we made reservation to Hotel Marine, but we stayed Hotel Azzi because the reception asked us to stay there.
Close to the train station. Easy to go everywhere. 除了第一天check-in时，等了一个小时外，其他都还行，出行方便。
Very pleasant staff. Good position
Air conditioning was set and remote control was not working. windows left open and mosquitos in the room.
Very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and only 10 minute walk to the Duomo. Many shops and restaurants near by. Air conditioning actually cooled! Staff was very friendly + breakfast was included.
Hotel is hard to find. Had to ask for help in order to find it.
Overall, it is a good stay except there were mosquitoes. The breakfast is good, with homemade bread. Location is excellent. Very near to train station!
Great location - clean - ok breakfast.
Old furnitures, not your honey moon room. Staff tried to charge me more at check-out so be careful. Make sure you agree on exact amount during check-in.
A good location close to the train station and an easy walk to all the sights North of the Arno.
It should be noted in the directions that check-in can/should be done on the ground floor before hiking up to the second floor.
We had to move into Hotel Anna"s were we had a large room at the front of the house with small but modern bathroom, plenty hot wáter and good cleaning and linen service. Staff were pleasant, continental breakfast adequate
The building houses 6 alberges and the Mrine is just one of them. There is a comunal reception, lounge and breakfast room on the ground floor. On arrival we taken to a miserable squalid room in the Marine section. There is a new building being constructed about a meter away from the Windows and a big crane outside. On complaining we were told that was all there was available as there was a big Congress in town and all hotels full. I pointed out to the reception that our booking had been made everal weeks before and that no one had advised us about building work. Eventually we were moved to Horel Anna·s on the ame floor which has been renovated and is at the front of the building. This room was large and much more aceptable and more in keeping with the advert. In general Marine is not as advertised and future bookings should be advised about building work
Reception was helpful, explained to us the sights immediately and took us to our room. Check-in is at Hotel Azzi next door, for all hotels in the building. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast had a fair variety of foods.
Window had the view of a construction site next door.
Staffs recommend tourist attaction places and nice
No lift , we have to carry baggages to second floor (35-40 steps)
