The location was pretty good...only 5 mins in a taxi from the train station...then the shopping.restaurants.etc..only a short walk away...staff were fantastic...as were the facilities.
The only thing i would say is that it is opposite a busy hospital...the sirens although they would bother some people..didnt bother me that much....also being a city hotel...lots of traffic too.
Easily accessible parking space, this hotel is good for car travellers on a short stay.
Bare-bones hotel, here and there not quite clean.
Not really like the pictures shown in booking . com
Size of room Brakfast
Nothing really. Maybe only the walking distance to the inner city
The room was extremely small and hot. Even when switching off the heater it was unbearable. the shower was so small that it was impossible to wash your hair. The smell in the room and linen was like a grandma' s attic.. We will never come back. Price is in no relation to that!
The room was too small for the price, so was the bathroom. Cleanliness was not upto the mark. The location too is a bit off the mark needing bunched changes of public transport.
Noisy - near the hospital
Location is okay
Restaurant no open in the evening
really cheap, a few minutes from the center, parking, wifi, courtesy of the staff
Don't follow your gps navigator, look at the street numbers otherwise you will end up at a wrong location
This "hotel" is located in the heart of Padua on the Piazza dei Signori, and if you select a room with view, you overlook the square with belltower, and morning market. The room was good, and WIFI worked fine. There is normally no-one at the reception, except for a few hours per day. The key was ready for me when I arrived, even through the owner was away. You will receive a code for the front door to enter.
Being in the center of the city overlooking the square (dei Signori) can also be a bit noisy, especially on wednesday night when students hang out there. So better take some earplugs.
Will definitely return, great value and location.
Attention to detail of cleaning staff. light bulb out in bathroom and high ceiling very dirty. Bedroom had tape on wall, probably due to recent painting.
Location, staff, clean facilities, car park!!
Cannot really recall...
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok.
It is close to a hospital and you can be troubled by ambulances at night. I got a room at the ground floor and it was very noisy, there was a boiler or something like that close to the room. Wi-fi barely reached the room.
Comes with spa. You need to pay 5 euros per person to rent a shower cap, slippers and bathrobe but you can use them throughout your stay. Breakfast was 5 euros per person per day (not included in room) but it was good. Parking was reasonable at 5 euros a day.
A little far from town.
All staff friendly, helpful and extremely willing to make my stay pleasant. Rooms clean, linens crisp and hot water...all a plus. Breakfast was great. On site parking.
Wish they serverd meals for lunch and dinner.
The staff was incredible. You should speak Italian though, otherwise communication will be limited. Good continental breakfast for better price than on the street.
The need to ask for a new Wi-Fi access code every hour. That was irritating to say the least. After a while my phone wouldn't accept any new codes and I ended up shut out of the internet completely.
Location, cleanliness, friendly service during breakfast
Day shift front desk staff not helpful but abrupt, rude, unfriendly
The rooms is tidy and comfortable. As it is located near to hospital and away from center, the room is quiet enough. Breakfast is fair as well.
It is far away from train station, it is nearly an hour walk. Walking to the town center is a lesser problem, but it still takes 4 or 5 streets.
The city center is not very far away, 15 min walk.
- They were stains on the walls in the room, which needed a refreshment. - I had to ask twice for soap (!) because it wasn't renewed. - I changed my booking (one night less), that had as a consequence a change in the room rate: no breakfasts included any more. The receptionist explained that it was booking.com's policy, which is doubtful. Total absence of commercial spirit to please, I had to pay my breakfasts.
Very poor shower. Room very dated and dark.
It was an okay stop on our travels across northern Italy. The staff was pleasant.
The nearest bar or restaurant was at last 10 minute walk from the hotel. After visiting several old cities across the north, this was very disappointing. The room & shower were very small. Parking should have been free - the lot was underused.
The hotel provides excellent value for money. Although situated on a busy road the location was ideal for us with ample parking with only a short walk into The centre of Padova and about a 30 minute walk to the train station for trains to Venice
