The hotel was not quite as bad as I thought from previous reviews. With private bathroom, it is adequate for a 2-3 day city trip. However, beware the relatively high ratings, because that's mostly for location (which is excellent, just next to the train station), but other services are accordingly lower. We had a double room with private bathroom. The bathroom was clean except for a bloody stain (nose discharge?) on the tiles next to the toilet. The room was clean but when we entered it, a spider walked over the bed (which I threw out of the window). The main drawbacks were the TOO SMALL bed for two people. (Really too small). And the heat was excruciating in summer, since there is no air-conditioning, just a fan. But the room had an old refrigerator, and overall, it was clean and adequate for 2-3 days stay. Hotel staff was not too friendly, but also not overly hostile. We were able to deal with them. Next time, I would choose a different hotel with air-conditioning and a larger double bed (or two singles). If some other hotel is close to the subway, location does not matter much, and it should be possible to find a better one for a similar price. Last annoying thing: They charge the credit card at time of reservation (no refunds!). I was told that this is technically illegal in Italy, as the guest should have a chance to assess the room and then decide if s/he wants to stay.

Very close to termini Front desk staff very rude and unhelpful. There are a lot of budget hotels in this area and I do not recommend staying in this one! Try hotel centro, just down the street. Front desk staff there made the stay more pleasant.

good location, near to the Termini station. There were mold in the bath room, so many bugs in the room. The smell of the room was exhausted.

Only 200 yards from Terminin train station, room appeared to be clean lights in the room didn't work properly, you had to turn the lights on with the fuse mains switch ? At 7am church bells start clattering, there must be a church within 50 yards of the hotel, there is no way anybody could sleep through that.

Location was very good. The breakfast and the supports of hotel staff was not bad. It was too small, dirty and noisy for its price. They charged every thing when I asked something to them, for example when I asked them to keep my luggage during daytime in the last day of stay. They may not have changed the sheets.

Good location, really easy to find. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Outside is very noisy with traffic and people. The street is really dodgy at night and not very safe if you are alone.

Breakfast were great, and we could drink/eat as much as we wanted. They gave us new towels everyday, and also the whole room was cleaned everyday. The location is perfect. About 2min to walk to metro station Termini, where both of Rome's metro lines are crossing, so you can go wherever you want very comfortable. The most of the staff was really friendly. The reception is working 24/7 - that's great. You can come back to the hotel whenever you want. Not everybody of the staff could speak english and didn't understand, when we were trying to explain some details about our stay at the hotel. I traveled with my friend and we took "double room", because it was cheaper, so we got a double bed, but only one big sheet/wrap and that wasn't very comfortable. The bed itself isn't very comfy either, especially if you want to sit and lean on the back.

It is reasonably priced and the location is excellent, right next door to the Termini station, which makes it ideal for getting the train or shuttle from Ciampino or Fiumicino airports, and very handy for exploring Rome. The breakfast was ample, but would have liked some fresh fruit. The rooms were a little cramped and dilapidated compared to other nearby hotels in which I have stayed for the same price.

It is very conveniet, close to the station. I felt a bit disappointed while I compared the room I stayed in last 6 years ago. The heat is not working well, the water power in bathroom/toilet is not strong enough..

Location-Near the Termini station My room was damp and I was coughing after the first few days I stayed. The rooms are ugly. The shower was not in a separate room but within the main room. That's the reason for the damp. There was a shared toilet which was clean but not pretty.

“The location was excellent just 2 mins away from Termini Tain Station. Some of the past comments on this hotel were way over the top, the room size was excellent as per European standards, breakfast was minimal but sufficient. For the price the hotel met all expectations. Will stay ther again when in Rome.” Natasha, Dubai |
